INDIAN COWBOY - COLLEGE
Pittsburgh -2.5
No write-up, please check research blog regarding write-up of this ballgame. They are simply playing great basketball and I trust them far more than a Michigan State team that has consistently not played well away from Ann Arbor.
Texas A&M +10
UCLA is a good team of course, but when they play other defensive teams, they too can struggle. Typically their offense is sound and their defense is flat out disgusting, but now let's see how they stack up to an A&M team that has played well in the regular season, in their conference tourney and has a sound half court offense of their own. A&M has some bigs to fight down low and frankly, I like A&M here for a single-digit loss as this team has a lot of heart and fight and I beleive will do well today. UCLA is a good team but that win over Mississippi Valley State will be much easier than what they face today with the efficiency, speed and fight of the Aggies. Aggies are 6-0 ATS on neutral sites as underdogs and UCLA is 1-5 ATS against the Big 12 of late.
Stanford -2.5
Stanford has simply been playing better basketball and at that this stage in the game, it's all about the team that is playing good ball heading into the bigger rounds in the tourney. Look at what Stanford has accomplished in it its last series of games including a burial of Cornell, their last 2 of 3 losses come to UCLA, the other to USC on the road which is a tough place to play, a big win against Washington State who you saw was impressive against Winthrop, swept Arizona in 2 games this season, beat Washington and this team has simply been impressive. Marquette to me has stumbled to the tournament and although they are an agressive and athletic team, their outside shooting has lacked late. I like Stanford's half court offense set better and will roll with them today.
