VERNON CROY

NBA Bookie Buster

Denver Nuggets vs. Sacramento Kings
Pick: Denver -7

20 Units, Take Denver ATS, The Nuggets put up 118 points in their 2 games against the Kings this season and they are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games as a favorite of -5.0 to -10.5. The Nuggets are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against a Pacific division opponent and the Kings are just 7-18 ATS in their last 25 home games. Sacramento is just 1-4 ATS when playing with 3 days or more of rest and they are brutal defensively with opponents averaging 108.4 ppg against them this season. I look for the nuggets to pull away early in this game and dominate from start to finish against a team that they have out-scored by an average of 26 ppg over their 2 meetings this season. Take Denver as my NBA Bookie Buster for Sunday night.

ACC Game of the Month

Duke vs. North Carolina
Pick: UNC -8

20 Units, Take North Carolina ATS, North Carolina is the overall superior team here Sunday and Ty Lawson is now probable to start this game which only adds to this Tar Heels dominating line-up. The Tar Heels have owned opponents at home this season with a 13-1 SU record while out-scoring their opponents by an average of 21.5 ppg. The Tar Heels will dominate the boards at home where they have averaged 41.3 rebounds per game this season and they are also the superior shooting team today. The Tar Heels are shooting 49.8% as a team at home this season while Duke is shooting just 42.9% on the road. North Carolina dominated Duke on the road back in February winning by 14 points and now I look for them to put Duke away at home today. The Tar Heels are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 home games against a team that has a winning record and the road and they are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games against Duke. Take North Carolina as my NCAAB ACC Game of the Month.

NHL Smash

Montreal Canadiens vs. Dallas Stars
Pick: Montreal +105

20 Units, Take Montreal ML, This pick falls into one of my top NHL systems and the Stars are just 2-6 in their last 8 games. The Canadiens are 8-3 in their last 11 games against a Western conference opponent and they are 11-5 in their last 16 games when playing with 1 days rest. The Canadiens before this 3 game road trip had won 4 straight and I look for them to pick up the "W" in their final game of this 3 game trip. The Stars have lost 5 straight at home and they are just 1-4 in their last 5 games against a Northeast division opponent. Take Montreal at a very nice price as my NHL Smash for Sunday evening and make sure you get on my NBA Bookie Buster as my 6-1 basketball run continues.

INDIAN COWBOY

4 Unit Play.Take Toledo -4 over Northern Illinois

Congrats on yet another winning week in college hoops. We went 4-2 overall in hoops this week as we look to go 5-2 on the week. There is a big difference between 5-2 and 4-3 and given that we hit Kansas yesterday and have won back to back weeks in hoops, I feel good about today. The Rockets of Toledo was not a hard pick for the POD today. Keep in mind they have just 6 wins this year - but all come at home. Yes, Northern Illinois is a team that has 10 wins, but did you know they have yet to win a conference game on the road this year? Remember, Northern Illinois is a team that has 5 conference wins as compared to Toledo that has just 4 conference wins. But, Northern Illinois is a completely different team on the road. NI shoots just a clip over 58% from the Free Throw line overall and when on the highway, they simply do not get the calls. Tack on the fact that Toledo gets the home cooking calls today, has revenge from an ugly 51-75 loss earlier this year, this makes out to be a similar game for us when we took Columbia over Princeton earlier this week in college. Remember, Toledo shoots 64% from the line which although is not great, is sufficient enough and better than NI for certain. Toledo has some quality wins at home this year and they have defeated even better ranking teams than Northern Illinois. This includes wins over Western Michigan at home, Ball State at home, Central Michigan at home and Eastern Michigan at home. In short, these are all teams around the 225 to 260 range that Toledo has taken care of when they are on their home court. Having said this, NI is a team that has a power ranking over 280. Plus, on the road this, team has a power ranking outside the top 300. In short, let's take the team in Toledo who has a great deal of revenge, is at home for Senior Day, shoots better free throws, comes home after a tough loss to Central Michigan on the road and has beaten even better teams at home than Northern Illinois so this is a game they likely win by a 10-12 point margin in my opinion. NI has yet to win a conference road game this year once again and are 0-7 ATS as road underdogs so why do we expect that to change on the last regular season game of the year for them? The Rockets have covered their last 5 contests as a favorite.

15 Dime Buffalo - Residing in a four-way tie for first playce with Akron, Miami O andBowling Green, I'm going to lay the three-pointer in this one and bankon the Bulls to make a push for the East Division's top seed. Bigthings taking place in Northwest New York these days, as Turner Gillturned the football program around, and now the basketball team isenjoying success. I know the RedHawks are tough, but to have to travelto Buffalo after a scrappy 50-45 overtime win over Bowling Green onThursday, I don't see too much left in the tank. The Bulls are steamingmad in coming off a 77-71 overtime loss at Kent State on Thursday, andwith a win against Miami, the Bulls would earn their first everfirst-round bye in the MAC Tournament. Bank on the Bulls to avengeThursday's loss with a huge win tonight.

15 Dime Troy State - I've thought this team had the best to winthe tournamnt title since day 1, and in getting a pick'em game here, Idon't see a problem in rolling with the Trojans for a blowout tonight. The Trojans came into the postseason tournament red hot, having won 12of their last 13 games with their sole loss coming by 1 point atFlorida International. Now they're on their way to making a run at thetitle and a berth into the Big Dance. South Alabama doesn't have enoughto challenge Troy on offense, and certainly doesn't have the talent topenetrate that stingy defense. Take the bottom team in this bracket.

15 Dime Florida State - I had the 'Noles against Duke, andthey've been good to me all season. Let's take them on the final day ofthe season, as they would earn the No. 4 seed by beating Virginia Techtoday, while a loss could drop the Seminoles to sixth. And even thoughI know the Hokies need this win in order to even be considered for thepostseason, this is a manageable number to achieve at home. ToneyDouglas' floater on Feb. 21 gave the 24th-ranked Seminoles the 67-65win over Va Tech the lasttime they met, and the Hokies roll in offback-to-back losses to Duke and North Carolina. That's not exactly theway you want to come in to a must-win game. The Hokies are too beat upby now, the Noles will roll.

FREE - Northwestern
