0.5-Unit Play. Take Ohio State (+6.5) over Purdue

My friend is my friend until they are my enemy! We used Purdue for our GOTW yesterday but now I’m going the other way. Ohio State is completely locked in right now. That game with Wisconsin was the best of the tournament and both of those teams played exceptional. Then they came back and laid it on Michigan State. Now they get Purdue off a pair of blowouts and this is a lot of points in a championship game. I love how Purdue looks right now. This is a team ready for a run in the NCAA Tournament. But OSU is knocking down shots right now. And when they do that they are really, really tough to beat. This is akin to the Mississippi State play, and I just don't see any blowouts today.

Antony Dinero

Ohio St. vs Purdue
Pick: Over 124

One thing both of these teams have proven this weekend in Indianapolis is that they can each score with anyone in the country, and that offense keys a stingy halfcourt defense. Because of this, you can expect both teams to make runs in this contest, hot streaks from Diebler and Evan Turner to pace the Bucks while the Boilers counter with E'twuan Moore and Robbie Hummel, and solid free throw shooting carrying this over as Ohio State hangs around and gives itself a chance to win, reminding us all how good a coach Thad Matta can be.

Stephen Nover

New Jersey at LA Clippers
Play: Over 202.5

A pair of losing teams with marquee stars are getting together in LA tonight. They're not looking to play defense.Sparked by Devin Harris, Vince Carter and a surprisingly effective Brook Lopez in the post, the Nets are averaging 106.2 points in their last five games. They also are giving up 109.2 points during this span. The Clippers expect to have their leading scorer, Zach Randolph, back for this game. The Clippers have a lot of firepower with Randolph, Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, Baron Davis, Chris Kaman and 3-point specialist Steve Novak. That's a lot of offense, but not much defense. If you exclude the Clippers' matchup versus the Cavaliers, they are averaging 107.4 points in their last five games.
