STEPHEN NOVER

USC vs. Michigan St.
Play: Under 130

I'm fortunate to have as one of my friends a professional oddsmaker who I regard as one of the top, if not the best, college totals linesmaker in the world. He makes the USC-Michigan State total 125. So there's enough value to make the 'under' a solid play.He anticipates an old fashion grind-it-out type of matchup.Certainly the trends point this way. Michigan State has gone 'under' in nine of its last 12.USC has gone below the total in 11 of its last 15 neutral site contests.Michigan State is a physical team that doesn't give up easy baskets. USC is a finesse club that is peaking with a goal of holding teams under 60 points. The Trojans are 13-0 when that happens.

Cleveland at New Jersey
Play: New Jersey +6

We’ll continue to play against the Cavs as the value is at a peak as Cleveland has a phenomenal overall S/U and ATS record. The Cavs have won eight in a row S/U but have now lost five straight ATS. Cleveland has to go on the road after playing a tough game at home last night and New Jersey has played extremely well the past two games. Cleveland is 2-6 ATS in the past eight Sunday games as they often get shaded even further in games that are more visible and this will be a televised game on the NBA network. The Cavs are 7-18 ATS in the last 25 meetings between these teams and New Jersey, though often erratic, has the talent to rise of for a big game on a big stage while the Cavs are in a tough scheduling situation.

Philadelphia at Sacramento
Play: Philadelphia -4.5

Philadelphia is in a 39-12 ATS Super System that says to Play On road favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points after a road game where both teams scored 100 or more points in the second half of the season. Sacramento is 2-11 ATS as a home dog of 6 points or less this year and they are 1-8 ATS their last 9 games vs. Atlantic Division teams. The Kings are 9-20 ATS their last 29 Non-Conference games and they are 7-16 ATS at home after losing 6 or 7 of their last 8 games. 10* PLAY ON PHILADELPHIA -

5 Unit Play.Take Pittsburgh -140 over Philadelphia

5 Unit Play.Take Boston -125 over New Jersey

New Jersey and Boston meet today with the Devils trailing Boston by three points for the Eastern Conference lead. Boston after a very good first half of the season has slipped going 3-6 in March and losing 13 of their 18 games by have manage to still hang on to 1st place. The Bruins have dealt with some injuries but then again so does most teams, I think the other night loss at home vs the Kings blowing a 2-0 lead late and losing in overtime speaks volumes. I like the fact the Bruins have had two day's off since that last and the fact that get a big time opponent in the Devils in a crucial game. The Devils and Bruins have meet in three playoff games this year with the Devils winning two of the three and all where close games. Boston is mainly healthy now, and I think after that loss to kings we will get a focused effort from the Bruins and all but lock up first place in the Eastern conference today.

900♦ Missouri Tigers

I learned a pair of valuable things on Friday and that was Missouri is very good and Marquette is not the same team without Dominic James. You see after watching Missouri win by 19 points on Friday improving to 4-0 SU/ATS in postseason play I am shocked that the Tigers a such a little favorite today. I mean given that they have won 16 of their last 19 games while covering 14 of those games it is very clear that Missouri is one the elite teams in the nation. The same can’t be said for Marquette right now as despite their opening round win they are struggling with Dominic James out with an injury as the Golden Eagles have lost 5 of their last 7 games. Plus, given the league tournament success going 7-2 straight up after last night’s action the Big 12 is show they are a deep and good league with Missouri leading the way with their league title. So backed by the new version of 40 minutes of hell I look for the Missouri with their amazing depth to wear down Marquette as the Tiger run away late for a double digit win.

All Missouri minus the points!

100♦ Cleveland State Vikings

In bonus action sure Arizona is expected to win today, but I just don’t see it happening as Cleveland State keeping the glass slipper on as they advance with a win. Not when the Wildcats will have their hand full playing a senior laden Cleveland State team show just how good they are with a 15 point win against Wake Forest on Friday thanks to the style up tempo pressure style of play. Well it’s the Vikings style of play that I love today as Arizona a depth shy team that is a undisciplined at time. Plus, given that Cleveland State has wins already over Syracuse, Wake Forest and Butler on the year it’s easy to expect them to beat an Arizona team that still did not deserve a tournament bid despite their first round win. Flat out, the Vikings are the better team here today and it is going to show with a Cleveland State win.

All Cleveland State plus the points!

3-Unit Play #703 Take Miami/Detroit OVER 183½

4-Unit Play Take Oklahoma City -1 Over Minnesota

Feel like we are getting a nice line here since the Thunder have been in a bit of a rut but we feel overall that the Thunder are a better team right now and that they should get the straight up win here and that should provide a cover since this line is slim. The Thunder have more quality wins on their resume lately and this team has struggled with some injuries lately and that has been part of the recent struggles getting everyone to gel again and infusing these guys back in the lineup. The T-Wolves are 1-8 ATS this season as a slim dog so and this team has no heart at the end of games, which is the complete opposite of the Thunder, who have been so great ATS because they compete until the final buzzer.

4-Unit Play Take Toronto -4½ Over LA Clippers

The Raptors aren’t playing well lately but they have had a much tougher schedule than the Clippers and they have played in a lot of much closer games as well. These are two teams that have basically given up on the season but the Clippers are a team that has thrown in the towel a long time ago. These two teams met once in December in LA and Toronto got a 20+win. Revenge isn’t even an option since that was so long ago and the Clippers have been trounced by many teams since then. The Raptors have done very well in this series the last few years, covering in six of the last eight meetings. This is the most winnable game the Raptors have had in awhile and we think they get a solid and easy win in front of the home fans tonight.
