20 DIMER - PHILADELPHIA 76ERS
10 DIMER - PHILLIES - MYERS over LOWE

20 DIMER - PHILADELPHIA 76ERS

It's payback time for the 76ers, as the have dropped ALL 3 meetings this season against the Nets, both straight up, and against the spread.

New Jersey took it on the chin yesterday at Chicago, while Philly was busy taking it to Detroit at home for their third straight win, and cover.

The Nets have now lost 6 of their last 7 with just 2 covers along the way, and the G-Man doesn't see things improving tonight.

Philly is looking to move up in the East Conference playoff standings, and with a pair of tough ones on the road at Charlotte, and Chicago upcoming, they know they need to take care of business in this battle.

Take care of it they will, as the Nets look to be just playing out the string these days.

Take the Sixers, as they avenge the 3 earlier season losses to the Nets in a big way tonight.

10 DIMER - PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES (Myers over Lowe)

I know Derek Lowe is a solid hurler, but to get the defending World Series champs as this low of a price seems like a steal to the G-Man.

Philly went 9-0 last year at Turner Field, and 14-4 overall against the Braves in last year's season series.

Atlanta has put together a decent team, but I doubt they are going to jell this early in the season, and especially not at the Bank on the night the Phils are picking up their World Series rings!

The Phillies went 48-33 at home last year, while the Braves were a putrid 29-52 on the road last season.

Atlanta has some talent, and I don't doubt this game is going to be close, but at with the price at -130 as I type this analysis, the G-Man's money is on the Phils.

1. 200,000♦ Spurs

2. 50,000♦ Jazz

1. Yes Cleveland has an unbelievable one measley loss at home all season long and is looking to avenge the pathetic loss on Friday at Orlando and stop this two game losing streak. They also boast an absolute superstar in Lebron but are you kidding me with this number!?!?!? I can get Duncan, Parker and Ginobili plus around a half dozen or so? OK!

About six or so weeks ago the Spurs were a similar dog in Boston and I told you then what a joke that was and bang an outright. That was part of a 2-0 sweep that day as coincidentally the Lakers won here in Cleveland in my underdog 2-0 sweep. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the professional and still great Spurs should win this game.

The Cavaliers certainly will be focused to get back on the winning track after losing in Washington and Orlando but flat out they have looked horrendous in those two games (as well as in the previous game and non-cover against Detroit) and are up against a beast today in San Antonio. No doubt Greg Popovich' team has been laying low and resting and not playing all that great over the past month but come on, this is still possibly the best organization in all of the NBA and a squad that is an absolute no-brainer in a situation such as this one.

The Cavs are not ending the season 40-1 at home and with the campaign dwindling down this is the best chance of them losing and I see that coming to fruition right here and now. Grab the points as that is too good of a steal but expect that outright!

2. The Jazz are clearly not the same team on the road I 100% understand that and New Orleans at home is extremely tough to beat. But with that said the Hornets are still a banged up club as Posey and Chandler are out and Stojakovic is still not close to being fully healthy. Also today's home squad is back after a three game west coast swing where they just lost in Golden State on Friday night. Now back home after a trip like this is not going to be easy as that first game never ever is.

I also do not mind the point guard matchup today. Nobody on this planet can fully contain Chris Paul as he is that great but if anybody can somewhat hang it is Deron Williams. Then throw in Carlos Boozer and Mehmut Okur and Paul Millsap and a few others and you have a very talented talented Jazz squad that has a great chance to win this game and anytime they are getting points anywhere have a shot.

Utah is on a three game skid which is not great at all and their defense has allowed 100 plus in four straight games which is also not good but the Hornets are really in a difficult situation today, even with being on their home court, and it will show in a very probable underdog outright here as well!

15 Dimes Utah Jazz +3 vs. New Orleans

Once again we are in the minority on this game. Just 35% of the betting public is behind us on this game. Sometimes that’s a good thing in the long run. Utah has unfortunately just won 14 games on the road this year. Utah has failed to cover the spread 6 times now. This is their longest stretch this year of not covering so its bound to hit the other way soon, which is in our favor there. One thing that Utah does better then most teams is play great defense on the guards. This will play into our favor and we wont see as many open shots and chances for Butler and Paul. The Jazz are 6-1-1 in the past 8 meetings vs. New Orleans. Utah is also 4-1 in their last 5 meetings vs. the Southwest. All these trends play into our favor as well. Utah suffered a tough loss vs. Minnesota on Friday night and have slipped a bit closer to that 8th spot. That’s a spot that everyone is trying to avoid, nobody wants to end up facing the Lakers in the 1st round. Look for Utah to come out firing early and often and grab the cover and maybe even the outright win. CappersJungle says take Utah Jazz at +3 today for your 15 dime winner.

Jazz at Hornets
Pick: Hornets -2.5

While the Jazz are 32-7 SU at home in Utah with the avg score being 105-95 they have played a lot of sour notes on the road as can be seen by their 14-23 SU record losing by an avg score of 106-102. Utah has just one road win since March 11th, and that came against lowly Oklahoma City. In their other five road games since then they have lost all five, three of them to teams (Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix) teams I rate lower than New Orleans. Hornets have gone 15-5 SU & ATS in the role of a home fav of 4 or less and should sting the Jazz here.

San Antonio at Cleveland
Play: Cleveland -6.5

The Cleveland Cavaliers have the best record in the NBA despite having dropped their last two contests. The Cavs have not dropped three in-a -row all season and I don't see why it should happen now. Only a one game lead over the Lakers keep Cleveland motivated. CAVALIERS!

Denver at Minnesota
Play: Denver -7.5

I really like the Denver Nuggets in this game and the way they are playing right now...Denver not only won their 50th game last night but have a chance to earn home court advantage in a playoff series for the first time in 21 years...the Nuggets go for their 9th straight win over the Minnesota Timberwolves and have won 11 of their L12...the Nuggets are 28-9-1 ATS in their last 38 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5...Timberwolves are 19-45 ATS in their last 64 games as a home underdog...8-21 ATS in their last 29 games playing on 1 days rest...2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS win...3-13 ATS in their last 16 games as a home underdog of 5.0-10...2-10 ATS in their last 12 home games vs. a team with a winning road record....the road team is 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings...Denver is the play here.

Lee Sterling

Utah at New Orleans
Play: Under 193

Tonight in the NBA game between Utah - New Orleans I see a tussle that should be tight and low scoring. Utah point guard Williams is one of the few PG's that can slow down New Orleans all world PG Paul. Utah also runs offensive plays deep into the shot clock trying to make that extra pass that can give them a better shot. It all adds up for a play on the UNDER tonight in the Utah - New Orleans game.

Phoenix at Dallas
Play: Dallas -3.5

A Mavs’ win here will but the final nail in the coffin of the Suns’ playoff’s hopes. This is what we expect to happen -- and we’re getting great line value. The Suns are off a huge win over the Kings and they have now won two straight. They were led by Steve Nash’s 29 points on 12-of-19 shooing. However, they are 0-5 ATS (-13.0 ppg) THIS season with at least one day of rest off a win in which they never trailed and 0-5 ATS (-14.0 ppg) on the road after a win in which Steve Nash was the Suns' high scorer -- losing every game straight up.In their last game, Dallas lost 107-102 in Memphis, a victim of the Grizzlies’ 8-of-14 (57.1%) three-point shooting. Dirk Nowitzki was 14-of-26 for 35 points, but he was 0-fer from the arc. Dallas responds famously from a loss in which their opponent shot well from the arc. the Mavs are 21-2-1 ATS of a loss in which their opponent attempted more than ten threes and made at least half of them. Over the last ten, they are a perfect 10-0 ATS, including 6-0 ATS this season. Nice. With the Mavericks a perfect 8-0 ATS (+8.2 ppg) at home when Dirk Nowitzki scored at least 30 points the last two, we’ll take the better home team.

MTi’s FORECAST: DALLAS 122 Phoenix 109
