At 6:30 pm, our College Basketball Game of the Week is on the Maryland Terrapins plus the points over Duke. In its last game, Gary Williams' Terps upset the #1-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels, 82-80, as 18-point underdogs! That big win sets up tonight's play, as home dogs of +8 or less points are a solid 76% ATS since 1999 off a road win (as a double-digit dog) if they're now matched up against a .500 (or better) foe off a win. And if our home dog is off back to back wins, then our system is a perfect 100% ATS since 1999. Maryland swept the season series from Duke last season, and has won five of the last seven games between these two ACC schools. The Terps are also 11-6 ATS the last 17 games, and Maryland is a perfect 8-0 ATS vs. Duke if both are off SU/ATS wins. Maryland hasn?t played in over a week, since their stunning upset of North Carolina, and they are 2-7 ATS. Maryland has actually had some recent success against Duke, but this is probably the Blue Devils? best team in the past three years while being Maryland?s worst. Duke is in the midst of a run where they?ve won four straight ACC games by an average of 14 points. I think emotion will count for something in this game, but it won?t be enough to offset Duke?s talent, depth, and the fact that they get all the calls. I think the week off has stunted Maryland's momentum and I don't see them shooting the ball well enough to win this game. Duke makes its free throws, UM doesn't, so if it is a nip-and-tuck game going down the final five minutes I think we have the edge.

Seattle has only lost 13 consecutive games now, proving that thesy are the worst team in the league right now. Sacramento has Mike Bibby, Kevin Martin and Ron Artest all healthy finally. These are their three best players who have missed substantial playing time this season. They are a totally different team with all 3 of them in the line-up now. Sacramento is 13-5 ATS after having lost 2 of their last 3 games this season. Cash in with Sacramento as the favorite.

Clemson is 33-52 ATS in road games after a conference game since 1997. Miami is ready to get their season back on track with a big home win over Clemson Sunday. Miami just had to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels, a tough task for any team, especially when UNC has lost their previous game. Miami is 14-4 on the season. This may sound funny, but Miami is showing even better value today due to the fact that they have lost 3 consecutive games. They will be the more motivated team Sunday. Miami is 40-22 ATS versus teams who average 40 or more rebounds/game on the season since 1997. Cash in with Miami as the underdog.

Maryland is ready to pull off the upset over Duke, just as they did over North Carolina a few weeks back. Gary Williams is the coach known for knocking off the top teams in the nation. Williams owns 7 wins over #1 ranked teams throughout his coaching career. Maryland has had 8 days to prepare for Duke since their last game against UNC. This added time has given the Terrapins a stellar game plan to attack the Blue Devils Sunday. Duke is 1-10 ATS after covering 4 or 5 of their last 6 against the spread over the last 2 seasons. Cash in with Maryland as the underdog.

Sacramento (-5) over SEATTLE
The Kings are finally at full strength with Ron Artest back from injury and Mike Bibby finally in the lineup and Sacramento is a slightly better than average team in the 25 games that Artest has played in this season (15-10 ATS in those games). The Kings had a tough week this week, losing at the Clippers and at Utah in their last two games, but Sacramento applies to a very good 177-78-4 ATS bounce-back situation tonight. Sacramento is 8-3 ATS after a loss this season when facing a team with a losing record, including 5-1 ATS on the road, so the Kings have certainly shown the ability to bounce back. My ratings only favor the Kings by 3 ½ points in this game and I don’t want to give up too much line value to make this game a Best Bet. I'll lean with Sacramento at -4 1/2 or -5 points and I’ll take Sacramento in a 2-Star Best Bet at -4 points or less and for 3-Stars at -3 or less.

Kent State is 54-17-4 ATS in conference home games when not favored by more than 9 points going back to 1994, including 18-6 ATS under coach Jim Christian, and Western Michigan does not play as well away from home (30-39-2 ATS regular season road or neutral, 3-7 ATS this season) as they do at home (35-20 ATS). My ratings favor the Golden Flashes by 6 ½ points in this game and I’ll lean with Kent at -7 or less.

Wow. I am absolutely shocked at what happened last night. I lost. I will not hide that fact. It was the one game that I have waited for to put my reputation on the line, and I lost. I took a team that was rated 19th best team in the country, the Dayton Fylers over the Richmond Spidurs, a middle of the pack A10 school. Spidurs played uncharacteristically well. They averaged 63.3 ppg before last night. I would of never expected them to be able to score 80, a season high for them, against a top opponent. It really was over by half, as the Spidurs shot almost 62% from the field in the first half. This is over 20 points higher than there FG % per game. This including 52.4% from the 3 point line, again 20% points higher than season norm. Its not like Dayton doesnt have a D. There opponents are average 64 ppg, while they clear 70 points on the offensive side! Did I forget to mention, Richmond was one of the worst rebounding teams in the country, facing Dayton, a team that takes pride in their offensive rebounding ability! As you can tell, I am still in shock. So this is what is going to happen. You are going to get my plays for the next 3 days. I have 3 days to earn back some of your respect. I have 3 days to make you this money back. Do not sell me off yet. I am going to succeed. Every casino knows it, Every Book I have ever played at knows it. I am a winner. Together, I will make you a winner. It starts today. You see the winners I have for you there. Tomorrow I am coming back with a 1000 unit play. I am not losing a game these next couple of days
