Denver Nuggets vs. Houston Rockets
Play: Houston Rockets

Houston has been on (((fire))) winning 18 of 19 games. & just crushing even though the huge injury & losing big man Yao Ming for the season. The injury has not yet affected them, as the Rockets cruised to easy W's @ Memphis and Washington without him. Dikembe Mutombo has stepped up and played excellent since returning as a starter. Tracy McGrady has stepped it up also!

The Nuggets are a great bet against road team, especially against better teams. They only have 2 road wins this season against quality opponents. Those wins came against Golden State and Portland. The Rockets crushed Denver by 28 points the last time these two teams met in Houston!!! Rockets by 15

INDIAN COWBOY

PLAY OF THE DAY: MIAMI vs SACRAMENTO

Play: SACRAMENTO -7

Comments: INDIAN COWBOY'S PLAY OF THE DAY: Kings -7 This is a nice revenge game here for the Kings. The Kings come off 4 straight road losses, and they were 0-4-1 ATS on that East Coast road trip and it was very frustrating for them. This team was competitive on the road at Atlanta and Dallas but fell just short, and of course, this team got spanked by Miami by 21 points on the road to Miami so they do have their own revenge angle. ARCO is a very tough place to play, the Kings are frustrated and need a big win at home, the Heat come off a nice win over Seattle but I don't know if they have back to back quality road games in them. After all, this team lost the spread considerably against the Lakers on this same road trip. Look for the Kings to do well this evening and get their revenge. Miami is 0-4 ATS following an ATS win and the Kings are 6-2 ATS at home of late.

Tony Karpinski

Georgia vs. LSU (NCAAB)
Play: LSU

LSU -4.5 LSU has played much more motivated basketball since their head coach, John Brady, was fired. This team is very young, and his firing was ridiculous, given the youth and potential talent of this roster. The Tigers have stepped since his firing, going 3-3 straight up, including two straight wins. Georgia struggles on the road and against teams with length. LSU has the tallest starters in the SEC, and they play very well at home. I look for Georgia to have problems in this game, and they will not much the Tigers intensity. Take LSU to get a big home win.

Indiana U vs. Michigan State
Pick INDIANA

Villanova vs. Louisville
Pick LOUISVILLE

San Antonio Spurs vs. New Jersey Nets
Play: New Jersey Nets Play Title: NBA Underdog GAME of the WEEK

Pick on the NJ NETS I'm taking the points with NEW JERSEY. Both teams come off a win over the Bucks in their last game. The situation favors the Nets though, as they had the past two nights off while the Spurs faced Milwaukee last night. Tonight they'll face a New Jersey team which is fighting to stay alive in the Eastern Conference playoff race and one which has seemingly recoverd from all the negative energy affecting them prior to the Jason Kidd Trade. Indeed, Thursday's win over Milwaukee brought the Nets to 5-1 their last six home games. Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson each scored 19 points and newly acquired Devin Harris came off the bench to add an impressive 21 in his Nets' debut. Coming from Dallas, Harris knows all about the Spurs and I expect him to deliver another quality performance in his second game as he'll contain Tony Parker. The Nets know how important this game is, particularly as they hit the road for five games next, starting with a rematch vs. the Spurs on Tuesday. Look for them to continue their recent strong homecourt play while the Spurs' road and "back to back" struggles continue.

Oregon vs. Oregon State

10* INDIANA - Michigan State is going to be a huge disappointment this postseason, trust me when I tell you this. Tom Izzo’s bunch is historically dominating when its posting good numbers, but you can see that its 10-5 SU mark is coming by way of tough ventures, as it’s a bleak 4-11 ATS in league play. And right now, with as bad as this team has struggled - losing four of its last seven – I don’t see the Spartans being able to cover, let alone win, against the Hoosiers.

Indiana has won seven of its last eight, including four in row after Tuesday’s 72-69 home win over Ohio State. And I’ll have to say, hats off to Indiana, which has posted consecutive three-point wins since former coach Kelvin Sampson was dismissed. This is obviously no longer a distraction, and this would make a statement by stealing this one on the road, where the Hoosiers are 8-2 this season.

10* LOUISVILLE - Villanova has laid dormant since Monday, and has to go into fiery Freedom Hall, where the Cardinals have won seven straight home games (all in conference), going 5-2 ATS. Too bad for Jay Wright and company, as the Cardinals are going to paste this team, continuing its Sunday streak versus the books (4-0 ATS) and a 24-6 ATS run in Big East play.

Villanova has been a huge disappointment, proving graduation has taken its toll, as the Wildcats are just 7-8 in the Big East (5-10 ATS). This does not bode well since the Cardinals are in triple-revenge mode in this series. Though Nova has won three straight over Louisville, the Cards have covered the last two. Plus, the Wildcats have lost six of their last eight on the highway – losing five to the books - all in conference play. Villanova also comes into this one mired in ATS skids of 1-5 on Sunday, 2-10 following an ATS loss and 0-7 following a double-digit loss in Philly. Lay the chalk in this one.

Strike Point Sports Picks For College Basketball

1-Unit Play. #551 Take Fairfield +8.5 over Rider

The Stags are playing their best ball of the season, putting together seven straight wins. They have gone 6-1 ATS during this current run, not to mention they are 9-3 against the number in their last 12 road games. Fairfield is also 5-1 ATS in its last six conference games while Rider has failed to cover its last five games against MAAC teams. It will be the Stags that have enough to stay inside this number and put together another cash in league play.

Doc's Sports Picks For College Basketball

4 Unit Play. #551 Take Fairfield +8 ½ over Rider
The Stags enter this game on a high note having won seven straight games and still have the possibility of receiving a top three seed in the upcoming MEAC Tournament with a win today. They already beat Rider earlier this season by double-digits and are getting way too many points on Sunday. Fairfield has fared well in the all-time series, winning 23 of the 41 meetings and this is a sleeper team that could make some noise in the very competitive MEAC Conference come tournament time.

7 Unit Play. #542 Take Maryland -1 ½ over Clemson
ACC Game of the Year. Will the real Maryland team please stand up? The Comcast Center is the site for this ACC match-up when the Tigers come calling. Both teams are on the tournament bubble, but Maryland needs this one more. They have been an up and down squad all season long, but tonight Coach Williams will get it figured out and cruise to victory. Maryland may need to win tonight and then at Virginia to secure a bid to the big dance and they certainly have the talent to accomplish that. Both teams can score points, but we expect Terrapins have better defenders and playing at home will propel them to a much needed victory. The ACC as a whole wants to be well represented in the tournament and because of that Maryland gets the extra edge.

Wunderdog

Toronto at Charlotte
Pick: Toronto -3.5

Toronto is without Chris Bosh here while Charlotte is without leading scorer Gerald Wallace. Toronto is a winning road team while Charlotte loses everywhere, even at home. The Raptors are averaging 106.8 per game over their last five while the Bobcats are giving up nearly as much (106.4 per game) over their last five. Toronto needs to keep winning to keep pace with Cleveland in the East and they should have little trouble covering this small line.

AAA

NBA: Toronto Raptors at Charlotte Bobcats - Over 199 -110 Unit Value: 2

Note: The Raptors are tearing up the league with points and with or without Bosh today, they will continue to use a higher than normal pace. In fact, without him, they will probably pace more. At this writing, Bosh is questionable for this contest but the Bobcat D is very questionable as well. They are regularly allowing 100+ points and in fact, their last 10 games, they have allowed 107.5 per contest. They do continue to put the ball up at a high rate though and they should have some success today in the interior. You can play this one up to 201
