Jimmy The Moose

Atlanta Thrashers at Washington Capitals
Prediction: Atlanta Thrashers

The Atlanta Thrashers have been out of the playoff race for quite some time but they have been playing some very good hockey of late. The Thrashers have won 4 straight and 5 of their last 6 games. Atlanta has won 8 of their last 10 games coming off a win. The Thrashers have won their last 4 games as an underdog. Atlanta has also won 5 of their last 7 road games. The Capitals are one of the games most exciting team's but look for them to overlook Atlanta in this one. Play on the Atlanta Thrashers +.

1 Unit on Nuggets/Timberwolves OVER 207

Denver is on a scoring spree, having conquered the century mark in 12 straight games, scoring 111 or more in 9 of those games. I expect the Nuggets to dictate the pace here and to see a lot of points put up on the board in this one. We'll play on the over on all teams where the total is greater than or equal to 200 (MINNESOTA) - poor team - outscored by their opponents by 3+ points/game against an opponent after leading their last 2 games by 10+ points at the half. This system is 35-11 Over the last 5 seasons. Bet the Over.

DAL / PHO Under 230

In looking at the three meetings between these two teams this season, only one of the games went over today's posted total. That was a 122-117 Dallas win at Phoenix on 3/10. In that game, Dallas shot 53.4% from the field, while Phoenix shot 55.2%.In the other game in Phoenix this season, a 128-100 Suns win on 1/9, the teams combined to shoot 53% from the field. Yet that game still would've been under today's total despite excellent shooting.Based on that info, it would seem that this game has a very good chance to stay under the total even if the teams shoot above 50% for the game. Sounds good to me. I'll take the UNDER.
