Suns could be without two starters vs. Hornets
The Arizona Republic is reporting Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash may miss tonight's game against the New Orleans Hornets with flu-like symptoms.
Nash remained at the team's hotel during shoot-around this morning. Oddsmakers have set Phoenix as an 8-point road underdog.
The two-time NBA MVP is scoring over 15 points and dishing out more than eight assists per game.
He missed time with a thigh contusion against the Miami Heat last week. If Nash doesn't play, rookie Sean Singletary could start in his place.
Nash's teammate, center Shaquille O'Neal is a game-time decision. Suns coach Terry porter has been resting O'Neal when the team plays consecutive nights. Phoenix faces the Dallas Mavericks tomorrow night, so O'Neal could rest tonight in New Orleans.
O'Neal is averaging almost 15 points and over eight rebounds per night.
Tonight's total is currently set at 195.5 points.
