Underdog Play

Minnesota (+4 Points) vs. Michigan

Play: Minnesota (+4 Points)

Duke (-12.5 Points) vs. St. John's

After 2 ACC losses in a row, Duke gets to take out its frustrations on one of the weaker Big East squads-St. Johns. They need this win to bolster their record for the NCAA March Madness seeding . St. John’s has lost four in a row and is not in Duke’s class. The Blue Devils will take out their recent frustrations on a helpless Johnnies squad and cruise to a 15-20 point win.

Play: Duke (-12.5 Points)

Western Kentucky (+2.5 Points) vs. Ark-LR

Both of these teams are fighting for Sun Belt Conference supremacy. While Ark-LR has won 5 in a row they were blown out by WKU earlier in the year, 79-47! Western has been solid offensively and they will win this game if hey keep their turnovers to a minimum. While revenge is on the minds of Ark-LR….they won’t get it tonight.

Play: Western Kentucky (+2.5 Points)

Wisconsin (-9 Points) vs. Indiana

Wisconsin is clearly the better team here and needs to get as many wins as it can because the Badgers find themselves on the NCAA “bubble”. It’s good for them that they may be playing their best basketball of the year right now. They’re coming off a nice 5-point win over a good Ohio State team and should show a horrible Indiana team no mercy. They’re better at both ends of the floor-especially on defense-and will get a double-digit win tonight.

Play: Wisconsin (-9 Points)

The Booooj

15 unit Denver -5.5 over Louisiana-Lafayette

For tonight's play I am going back to Denver, a team I've won with recently. The Pioneers come into tonight's game looking to avenge an earlier one point overtime loss on the Ragin Cajuns floor. Looking at this game from the outside, Denver doesn't appear to have that much of an advantage. The biggest advantage comes with their home floor. The Pioneers are 11-14 overall, but 11-2 on their home floor. ULL on the other hand is just 1-11 away from their gym on the season, and have lost their last six road games by an average of over 14 points per. Quite simply this is a very good spot for Denver. On the floor< Denver is led by Junior Guard/Forward Nate Rohnert, who is averaging over 15 points per game, along with over 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Rohnert will be a tough matchup for ULL, as he is bigger than any guard they can put on him and quicker than any forward they can throw at him. I like the Pioneers to lead this one the whole way and blow it open in the last 10 minutes. Denver by 12-15.
