Great Lakes

Golden State at Phoenix
Play on: Phoenix Suns

The Suns are 3-1 ATS at home vs the Warriors the last three years, 62-47 ATS after allowing 105 pouints or more the last three years, and 77-52 ATS the last three years when playing a team with a winning record. The Warriors are a terrible 27-35 ATS this year, and we look for the Phoenix Suns to roll over the Golden State Warriors tonight to grab the home ATS Win & cover.

John Ryan

Game: Iowa State at Texas A&M
Prediction: under

Reason: Ai Simulator 3* graded play UNDER Iowa State/Texas A&M - AiS shows a 68% probability that 120 or fewer points will be scored in this game. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 88-51 for 63% since 1997. Play under with all teams where the total is between 120 and 129.5 points that are good shooting teams hitting 45-47.5% and is facing a good defensive team allowing 40-42.5% after 15+ games and is a good ball handling team committing just <=14.5 TOPG and is now facing a poor pressure defense forcing <=14.5 TOPG after 15+ games. Note too that Texas A&M is 7-1 UNDER versus poor pressure defensive teams forcing <=14 turnovers/game this season.

Game: Illinois at Penn State
Prediction: Penn State

Reason: The Big-10 Shocker of the Week is a play on Penn State, plus points over Illinois. What in the world has Illinois done this season to warrant this kind of chalk? Bruce Webber has led this program to one of it's worst seasons in over 30 years. They enter tonight's tilt just 13-18 SU & 12-18-1 ATS overall, including a current 5-14 SU run. This eight-point favorite has lost to Penn State both times they faced them this season. In fact, the Illini are the LOWER seed! Meanwhile, PSU enters the tournament in much better form. They have won three of their last four games, including wins over Iowa, Michigan, and 18th-ranked Indiana! The bottom line is that too much is being made of two keys. The Illini's double-revenge spot, and the injury to PSU forward Jamelle Cornley. After all, Cornley finished with just six points and four rebounds in PSU's most recent win over the Illini. And, the Nittany Lions knocked off the Hoosiers without Cornley in their regular season finale. Penn State should NOT be getting FOUR FULL BASKETS to a bad Illinois team. Let's take advantage with a play on the pup. Penn State, plus points on Thursday. Thanks! GL! Scott.

Carlo Campanella

Game: Illinois at Penn State
Prediction: Illinois

Reason: Penn State gets almost double digits from Illinois on Thursday's Big 10 Conference action even though they're 3-2 SU & 4-1 ATS during the last 5 meetings in this series. That should tell us that Illinois is a MUCH better squad and we'll lay the lumber knowing that they're a perfect 6-0 ATS when playing on a nuetral court and favored between 6.5 and 9 points behind Head Coach Weber, winning those six games by an average of 15 points! Toss in the fact that Penn State is just 2-11 SU & 4-9 ATS away from home this year and we'll watch Illionis easily advance to the second round.

Cajun-Sports CBB SEC 1st Round Winner

Game: (857) Alabama Crimson Tide vs. (858) Florida Gators

Time: 7:30 PM EST

Line: Florida Gators -3

Rating: TWO-Star

Selection: (858) FLORIDA GATORS -3

Analysis: For the Gators to secure their 10th invitation to the Big Dance they will most likely have to make a deep run or maybe even with the tournament. Dance motivation is only a small part of our reason for backing this Gators team tonight. The Tide have failed to win a conference game away from the Capstone all season and their defense is a good reason why as they rank near the bottom in scoring (73ppg), FG% (44%) and 3-PT% (37%). The Gators ended the regular season by losing to Tennessee at home after leading by 13 at the half (89-86). They then hit the highway to face the Wildcats in Rupp Arena and lost there which was the perfect letdown situation after such an emotional game against the Vols. Those two losses ensure we get a fully focused Gator team tonight and their talent and coaching make it easy to lay the short price. Technical support comes from the fact the Tide are 53-79-4 ATS off a home game, 42-71-3 ATS off a SU win at home and 3-11-1 ATS off a SU home win in which they went Under the posted total and are now facing a conference team. One final note on the Tide they are 2-15 ATS in road games revenging a loss where opponent scored 75 or more points since 1997. Our research has uncovered technical support for the Gators that tells us they are 45-29 ATS as a favorite over the last 3 seasons, 6-0 ATS as a neutral court favorite of 3 points or less or pick over the last 3 seasons, 20-3 ATS in all tournament games over the last 3 seasons. Lay the chalk here as the Gators punch the Tides normal early exit tourney ticket.

NICK JONES COMP

Richmond +8 -110

I have said it since the beginning that St Joseph's is way over rated this season. With bubble teams dropping like flies I expect o see St Jo's take a dive soon in the Atlantic 10 conference. We are are the quarter finals and what better match up so see a nice upset. Richmond has gone on some nice ATS cover streaks coming off a loss and I would not be surprised to see these guys take the title and get themselves an NCAA Tournament birth. My prediction is upset, but we will take the points!

Ross Benjamin Free Selection

Fresno St. vs. Nevada
Play On: Fresno St. +8.0

Any conference tournament underdog of +8.5 or less that is a #7 or higher, is off an 0-3 SU and ATS in their last 3 games all as a conference underdog is 7-0 SU and ATS since 1990. This identical situation came up twice yesterday with LaSalle and Colorado St. both outright underdog winners. The underdog has won all 7 of these games outright by an average of 7.7 points per game. Play on Fresno St. plus the points as my free selection of the day.
