Stu Feiner

Cincinnati (-3) at South Florida (123)

Cincinnati laid an egg at Syracuse Sunday afternoon and coach Mike Cronin let his players know it. He ripped them a good one and now look for them to respond with a solid effort in this win and cover over a decimated South Florida team minus three starters. Guard Jesus Verdejo, the team’s second-leading scorer and top three-point shooter, is the latest casualty as he injured his foot in Saturday’s 14-point home loss to West Virginia, the team’s sixth consecutive double-digit loss. Overall the offensively-challenged Bulls have dropped nine of their last 10 on the scoreboard. They rank last in the Big East in scoring (59.4 ppg), FG percentage (39.9), free throw percentage (59.2) and are second-to-last in three-point percentage (29.4). Dominique Jones is good, but he can’t do it by himself. Cincy is 18-11 SU and needs this win, plus a win over visiting Seton Hall this weekend and then a win in the Big East Tournament to get in the Big Dance. They have won and covered four of their last five at South Florida. The Cats (2-0 SU/ATS as a foad chalk of three or less) also haven’t been entirely terrible on the road with wins and covers at Georgetown, St. John’s and DePaul this season. Look for Deonta Vaughn to have a big game and for the Bearcats to respond to their coach’s challenge as they show up from the start tonight and cover this small price with little problem at all.

VERNON CROY

NCAAB Hardcore Hoops Game of the Week

Tennessee State vs. Murray State
Play:Tennessee State +11.5

Take Tennessee State ATS, This pick falls into one of my top NCAAB systems and the Tigers are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as a road dog of +7.0 to +12.5 points. The Tigers are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games against a team that has a winning record above .600 and they are 2-1 SU in their last 3 games this season as a road dog of +9.5 to 12 points. The Tigers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games off a win against a conference rival and Murray State is just 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games as a favorite of -7.0 to -12.5 points. The Racers are just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 tournament games and the Tigers come into this game red hot having won 6 straight games including covering all but 1 of those 6 games. Take Tennessee State as my NCAAB Hardcore Hoops Game of the Week for Tuesday night.

NHL Blue Line Bulldozer

New Jersey Devils vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
Play:New Jersey -159

20 Units, Take New Jersey ML, The Devils are the superior overall team here tonight on the road and Brodeur has been lights out since returning the line-up allowing just 2 goals over 3 games with 2 shut-outs. The Devils are 4-1 in their last 5 games after shutting out their opponent and they are 17-5 in their last 22 games after a win by 2 or more goals. The Devils are 6-0 in their last 6 games against a Northeast division opponent and they are 8-2 in their last 10 road games. The Devils powerplay has been solid on the road this season converting at 21.6% and their penalty kill has also been solid with opponents converting at just 13.1% against them. This Leaf team is very bad and they have been extremely lucky to have won their last 4 games. Take the NJ Devils as my NHL Blue Line Bulldozer for Tuesday night.

Trace Adams

1000* - Illinois-Chicago
500* - Georgetown
500* - Oklahoma State

Youngstown State completed the regular season series sweep over Illinois-Chicago, but winning # 3 in a row over the Flames tonight is not going to be an easy task.

The Flames come into this one with a little momentum on their side, as they have won and covered 4 straight, and 5 of their last 6. The lone loss in that span came against Butler, so you know Jimmy Collins' team is peaking at the the right time.

The Penguins have lost their last pair, and 3 of their last 4 straight up, and have failed 3 in a row against the spread leading up to this game.

Going to back the Flames minus the small road wood, as Illinois-Chicago avoids the "hat trick" in series meetings tonight.

Some services/sites have asked that they not be posted and the boss would rather steer clear of possible problems and do as they ask.

If you know the secret section of this web site and have access to the encrypted
password then you can get them. 😉 😛 Just joking !!! 😀
