INDIAN COWBOY

6 Unit Play. Take the Orlando Magic -4 over the LA Lakers (POD)

Why wait for a good thing? Let's go ahead and step out on the Orlando Magic for Tuesday as these two teams travel on Monday. Look, the Magic made drastic improvements in Game 2 compared to their 25 point pummeling they took at the hands of the Lakers in Game 1. This team showed a lot of pride playing great defense, hanging in there and even having a shot to win the game at the buzzer in regulation. Why could this team not feed on that momentum and take it to the Lakers - the same team they beat in Staples in the regular season. I actually think the Magic are likely to win Game 3 and Game 4 and will take this series back to LA where this baby should come down to a best of 3 series after they are tied 2-2. Nevertheless, the Magic have been good to me in big games as if you remember we hit a 8* on them when they defeated the Cavs to move on to the Eastern Conference Finals. We have ridden the Magic train quite often this year and in the playoffs. I love Stan Van Gundy as he reminds me of the Pillsbury doughboy all grown up. The point being is that he is a helluva coach and I will bank on the crowd, Lewis, Howard and Hedo the "Turkeyglue" showing up big. This is the same team that was solid all regular season, did win at Staples earlier in the year, beat the defending champ Boston Celtics, not to mention beating the Celtics in beating the Celtics in Boston in Game 7 when they were +2 dogs as 78% of the public took a bloodbath and defeated the team with the best regular season record + best player in the league in Lebron. Hence, I will take the Magic to likely win by around 9-11 points in this contest. The Lakers are 1-13 ATS in their last 14 NBA Championship Games and the Magic are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games.

4* Major MLB Letdown Game of the Month on Rockies -128
The Rockies have won 5 straight on the road, which included a 4-game sweep of the Cards. They're in for a letdown tonight as they visit a fresh Milwaukee team playing with a day's rest, who will take the Rocks very seriously after seeing what they did to their division rivals. The Rockies are 3-10 in the last 13 meetings in Milwaukee. The Brewers are 12-2 in their last 14 during game 1 of a series, 20-6 in their last 26 games as a home favorite, and 5-1 in Looper's last 6 home starts. Fade the Rockies in this letdown spot.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Orlando Magic Los Angeles Lakers
+4-105 at bodog
5* 2009 NBA Finals Game of the Year on LA Lakers +4
I like the Lakers to deliver the knockout blow with an outright win tonight so I'll definitely take them getting 4 insurance points. They escaped with a win in Game 2 while not playing their best and that does tons for their confidence while it doesn't do anything for Orlando's. The Lakers are 22-8-2 ATS in their last 32 games as a road underdog. The Underdog is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings. With the books knowing the public would shift to the Magic tonight, they have given the Lakers plenty of breathing room here with these points. Expect the Lakers to come out on top in a close one.
