The Chicago Bulls and the LA Clippers prepare to battle tonight in the United Center tonight. The Bulls are off to a lethargic start this season, averaging just 86.7 PPG on a lowly 37.8% FG conversion rate. Its taking time to get the offense untracked, for the Bulls because of strict defense first philosophy that the coaching staff and management fell must be implemented for the team to reach the next level. Do not get me wrong, the Bulls will and can score, it will just take time to get their game plan down. The visiting Clippers on the other hand, started their season strong, but are now without the often injured Elton Brand, something that will effect their offensive cohesiveness. Also remember this Clippers team is a notoriously Jekyll & Hyde type, team, when on the road compared to playing as hosts. Bottom line: Im expecting a fairly low scoring game , that fails to eclipse the total. Final notes & Key Trends: HC Skiles of the Bulls has seen his team go under in 18 of the L/25 as home favorites of 6.5 to 12 points with the average combined score ringing in at 186.6 PPG. Central Michigan -3 over Western Michigan
The Chippweas continue to prove themselves as the class of the MAC. CMU is perfect in conference play, thanks largely because of their unstoppable spread offense that has opponents guessing all game long. Being able to share the wealth to multiple weapons all over the field, Central Michigan can flat out just outscore you. Look for another 30+ point performance as they look finish off another another successful division crown with a win over the Broncos.

Western Michigan +3 over Central Michigan
CMU can win the MAC West with a win tonight while WMU is going nowhere this season. This is a huge rival game and for Western Michigan this is all they have left to play for. Central Michigan is a good team offensively, but they stink on defense and were dealt one of the easiest conference schedules this season. I cant get over how they lost to North Dakota State at home and how they did not compete at all against the top schools on their schedule. Western Michigan looked decent offensively against the big competition and lost two games at the end which could have them in the same position as CMU. Central Michigan knows they are going to win the West and their sense of urgency just will not be as high as the Western Michigan squad playing at home. Take WMU.

Note: Basing outcomes of NBA games on history can get you in a lot of trouble, and in this case, the previous 6 and the only 6 games between these two have produced more than this posted total 5 of those 6 played. But that is not what this one is all about. We have a Bobcat team that is playing with a lot of confidence right now and are 2-0 for the first time in franchise history. They are not afraid of the Big Bad Wolf and they will more than likely play that way tonight. This Bobcat D is not that good but they do possess some scorers on this team. Despite Morrison being declared not able to play this year, Charlotte is going to be able to go toe to toe often this year with offensive minded teams. That is what the Suns are and even though they are 1-2 OVER this year with the highest point total managed of 106, they will have their way tonight. These are not the Cavaliers and not even close This line has drifted downward from an opening of 210 but remaining steady at this writing. The Suns were 15-5 OVER last year the game following a home contest when the next game was on the road and I do think that here comes another one. We have see some poor shooting performances but both team's opposition this year but I doubt that we do tonight. Lot's of shots tonight with a fierce pace in the offing..
