Marco D´Angelo

Wisc-Green Bay vs. Valparaiso
Pick: VALPARAISO

Look for Valpo to roll tonight. Valpo has had three tight games in a row and I feel that they are ready for a Big Blowout Game. Yes we were on them on Saturday and they were up 15 but blew the Big Lead. Tonight they roll early and just keep rolling.TAKE VALPARAISO

New York Islanders

The NY Islanders and NY Rangers renew their rivalry this Tuesday night in MSG. The Isles are big time moneyline underdogs, in this spot.Despite of what the linesmakers think, this is a situation, that could easily see HC Ted Nolans troops pull off the upset , against a team they have beaten 4 of the L5 times. Can't pass up the value here, and am recommending a minimal wager on the underdog NY Islanders.

Purdue +125

Big 10 action heats back up Tuesday evening when Matt Painter’s (23-6) Purdue Boilermakers square off against Thad Matta’s (17-12) Ohio State Buckeyes. What a difference a year makes, as it was the Buckeyes looking to secure the B10 Championship a year ago when they last hosted their West Lafayette rivals. Purdue currently sits tied atop the Big 10 standings alongside Wisconsin with a 14-2 conference mark. The 15th-ranked Boilermakers will try to take a half game lead atop the league standings tonight when they try to snap a seven-game road losing streak to the Buckeyes.

The Boilers put forth a solid effort its last time out when they knocked off the Northwestern Wildcats by a 68-43 final count. The 25-point victory saw them easily cover the 15-point spread, and the combined 111 points fell comfortably Under the closing ‘Total’ of 129. That victory wrapped up a perfect mark at home in Big 10 play that saw them win all nine of their games. Their lone blemish in their L/10 games came at Indiana a few weeks back, and they’ve followed that torrid SU streak with a solid 8-2 ATS mark as well. If both Wisconsin and Purdue were to win their final two B10 games this week, the Boilermakers would earn the No. 1 seed for next week's conference tournament because they swept the Badgers this season. However, a win here coupled with a win at Michigan Sunday is a must. The Boilermakers haven't won a Big Ten title since the 1995-96 season under Head Coach Gene Keady.

Though Purdue has struggled at Ohio State (17-12, 8-8), the Boilermakers face a Buckeyes team that has lost four in a row and is on the verge of missing the NCAA tournament after reaching the national championship game in last season. They’re coming off back-to-back road losses at Minnesota and Indiana, and they haven’t won on their home floor since they got the best of Michigan almost exactly a month ago.

The Buckeyes currently sit as 2.5-point home chalks with the ‘Total’ set at 125.5. Purdue is a woeful 2-5 ATS the L/7 meetings in Columbus, and they’re 3-11 ATS the L/14 overall match-ups. OSU is also a fantastic 8-2 ATS their L/10 against +.500 teams. However, Purdue is 5-1 ATS their L/6 on the road vs. teams with a winning home mark, and 21-5 ATS their L/26 against the Big 10.

It doesn’t get much bigger than this folks, so tune your HDTV sets to ESPN at 7:00 ET to see if Purdue can keep its hopes for winning its first Big 10 Title in 12 years by disposing of last years champion on its home floor.

IN HUMMEL WE TRUST!!!!

1 Unit on Akron +4

Akron should not be the dog in this in-state rivalry with Ohio tonight. Ohio is coming off a ridiculous 34-point loss to Miami (Ohio) on Saturday and they won’t be able to get things turned around in just 3 days. Akron is 10-2 ATS when the total is 120 to 129.5 since 1997. Akron is 9-1 ATS on Tuesday nights over the last 3 seasons. Akron is 22-11 ATS after having won 4 or 5 of their last 6 games over the last 2 season. Ohio took a big shot to their confidence after the 34-point loss they suffered. They won’t have what it takes inside to pull off the win against a 20-8 Akron team tonight. Cash in with Akron as the underdog.

Strike Point Sports

3-Unit Play. Take Miami (OH)/Kent State Over 124.5

A big game in the MAC, this one goes over the posted total. The Redhawks are 6-2 in their last eight, going over their posted totals, while these two went over in the first meeting this season as well. Kent State has also gone over in six of its last seven overall, and we'll see these two shoot over this number tonight.

2-Unit Play. #527 Take Western Michigan -3 over Central Michigan

In this first meeting it was the Broncos that cruised to a 20-point victory, and not enough has changed to prevent Western from getting a season sweep of its intrastate and conference rival. The Broncos have won five straight and eight of their last ten games overall, also going 7-2-1 ATS in those games. Central is only 1-7-1 ATS in its last nine following an ATS loss, while Western is 4-0-1 ATS in its last five on the road. The favorite comes through with the cover here.

3-Unit Play. #563 Take Purdue +2 over Ohio State

The Boilermakers should be favored in this one, but that won't stop us from playing them here. Purdue is stronger, and the Buckeyes have just been too inconsistent all year to trust them against this tough a Big Ten team. The Baby Boilermakers are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 and 21-5 ATS in their last 26 vs. league play. Ohio State has dropped four straight, and this one will be number five. The better team gets the win, and that is Purdue.

2-Unit Play. Take Nebraska/Texas Over 129.5

After a tough loss on the road, look for the Longhorns to bounce back with strong effort in Austin. They'll want to get up and run, as Texas is scoring over 75 points per game at home this season. And for Nebraska to keep this one close, they'll need to put up some points as well. It will take 65 a piece to score the over, but I think this one will be played in the 70s. Play the over in this Big 12 match-up.

Tony Karpinski

Arkansas vs. Mississippi
Pick: Mississippi

Mississippi. These teams are mirror images of each other. Ole Miss only has one road win this season while Arkansas only has three road wins. Each team has won fourteen games at home, soundly defeating almost every SEC opponent they have faced at home. Arkansas has the tough challenge of traveling to Mississippi after a tough, emotional home win against Vanderbilt. Mississippi needs this game in order to keep their NCAA tournament hopes alive. Look for Mississippi to catch the Razorbacks by surprise and keep their tournament chances alive. Take the Rebels to get a big home win in front of their fans.

Buffalo Sabres vs. Philadelphia Flyers
Pick: Buffalo Sabres:

Nashville Predators vs. Edmonton Oilers
Nashville Predators

Golden State Warriors vs. Atlanta Hawks
Pick: Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta is a totally different team at home than on the road. They have a winning record on their home court at 18-11. This game is the first for Golden State on their east coast road trip. The Warriors will have to overcome jet lag from traveling across the country and play a team that they have little motivation to beat. Atlanta has been able to surprise many good teams at home this year, most recently the LA Lakers. What makes this selection even better is that Golden State has one of the worst defenses in the league. They routinely allow teams to get back into games or even beat them. Atlanta is too tough at home, and the Warriors poor defense and jet lag will cost them this game.

John Ryan

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Sacramento Kings
Play: Sacramento Kings

Ai Simulator 3* graded play on the Kings – AiS shows a 71% probability that the Kings will lose this game by 6 or fewer points. Led by Kobe, the Lakers get to the charity stripe quite a bit ranking rd in the NBA averaging 28.4 foul attempts per game. Note that Kings are 165-119 ATS versus good foul drawing teams that are attempting >=27 free throws/game since 1996. Here is an awesome money line system that has gone 46-27 and has made 24.1 units since 2002. Play against road teams in March versus the money line that are explosive offensive teams scoring 103+ points/game on the season. Take the Kings

Doc's Sports

Charlotte Bobcats vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Take Charlotte/Minnesota OVER 199 ½

The Bobcats have one of the NBA’s worst defenses and they have allowed an average of 109 in their last five games. If the T-Wolves can get anywhere near that number, which we think they can, then this game will go over the posted total. Lots of trends point to the over here. Four of the last five meetings between the clubs have gone over. The over is 23-9 in Minnesota’s last 32 games when posted as a favorite. The over is also 7-1 in Charlotte’s last eight road games.

Racers are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games following a SU win of more than 20 points. Racers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. Ohio Valley. Racers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
