NBA Warriors vs. Nuggets Picks & Predictions for Sunday, January 13, 2013
By ATSSportsline.com

DENVER, CO (ATS Consultants) – Two of the three times that the Warriors and Nuggets have faced each other this season, the games have gone into overtime. Will it be another close battle today when the two teams clash at 8:00PM ET?

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Nuggets as 6-point favorites versus the Warriors while the over/under total is currently sitting at 209 points. Golden State enters this game with a 23-12 record overall while Denver is 22-16 on the year.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Warriors opened as 6-point underdogs and that's where the line currently sits. As for the total, it opened at 207 but has been bet up as high as 209 at some sports books.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 56% of NBA public bettors currently favor the Warriors. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

NBA FREE PICK: Take Golden State. According to latest NBA trends, Warriors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games, 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 1 days rest, 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS loss and are 24-10-1 ATS in their last 35 road games. Nuggets are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win.

Last game: (11/29/12) GOLDEN STATE (+1.5) over Denver, 106-105. The Warriors (23-12 SU, 20-14-1 ATS, 21-13-1 O/U) and the Denver Nuggets (22-16 SU, 22-16 ATS, 19-19 O/U) have already played three times this season with one going to two overtimes and another ending in a one-point Warriors' victory following four video reviews in the final 3.4 seconds. Denver had won the first two but the Warriors won the last game by one. David Lee led the Warriors with 31 points on Nov. 29. Golden State bounced back from losses to the Clippers and Memphis by beating Portland on Friday, 103-97, laying 8. Steph Curry scored 22 and dished out 12 dimes. Lee added 24 points and 10 boards. Denver has won four straight but didn't cover the last two against Cleveland and Orlando. What makes Golden State so tough to beat is their bench, which includes Carl Landry and Jarrett Jackson. The Nuggets may win but won't cover the spread. The Warriors meet the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Sunday at 8pmET.
