5 Unit Play. #566. Take Missouri -4 over Oklahoma (Wednesday @ 9pm est). Let's ride our perfect 5* CBB GOM streak by taking Missouri minus the points over the Sooners today. In December we cashed with Cleveland State +13 as the GOM over Syracuse, in January we cashed with Illinois big over Indiana as they routed them at home, in February we cashed with Rider over Loyola Maryland, in fact, in January we hit two additional 5* selections by taking Penn State +9 over Wisconsin and Northwestern +1 over Wisconsin. I say this to highlight the fact we have hit our last 5 college basketball 5* selections and I feel good about today's play with Mizzou as we have won 6 of 8 weeks in college ball as well. Mizzou comes off its worse loss of the year. But, by no means was this all of Mizzou's fault because bear in mind Kansas had massive revenge in the game prior to when Kansas essentially lost in a buzzer beater at Mizzou earlier this year. Thus, with that revenge, Kansas absolutely routed this team at home 90-65. But, let's not forget that Mizzou is the same team that is 11-3 in conference play. Mizzou is the same team that still had the gonads to defeat Kansas this year as this was Kansas's only loss in conference play to this point. Mizzou is a perfect 17-0 at home. The Tigers come off their worst loss of the year. You better believe a team that beat Kansas State by 20 at home, Nebraska by 23, Texas by 4 on the road (which not even Oklahoma could do by seeing their loss to the Longhorns at Texas), beating Iowa State at home by 31 and Cal at home by 37 certainly has the goods to defeat Oklahoma here. Oklahoma is riding high off of their win over Texas Tech - "whoopdeedoodah". Texas Tech is nothing. In fact, that game was fairly close most of the way and Oklahoma only late pulled away. They weren?t all that impressive in that win whatsoever until the waning minutes when they added some padding. Yes, they won by 15 against cupcakes - now as the Sooners to go on the road to play a Mizzou team that is just waiting to play Oklahoma after a terrible defeat on the road. Tack on the fact that I simply don't think Oklahoma is great and this showed by their five point loss to Texas on the road and the fact that I believe Mizzou matches up well with them. Add some home cooking fouls called in favor of Missouri getting to the line, Mizzou stifling Blake Griffin as don't expect his brother to have another big game, and add the fact that 65% are riding the public dog here, you have the makings for a public burial. Oklahoma is not as good as folks think they are and this team will not even make it to the Elite 8 and frankly, this team will be fortunate to even make it to the Sweet 16. I like Missouri here with great defense, coming off the worst loss of the year, at home on Senior Night on national television to win this game by covering the 4 point chalk here.

Good luck,
Indian Cowboy.

Boston Col +2 vs North Carolina St

Boston College cannot afford to lose this game if they want to secure a berth in the NCAA tournament. The Eagles have played well on the road this season with wins at North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Virginia, and Maryland. They will get to face N.C. State while their students are on Spring Break, so the Wolf Pack?s home court advantage is much less than it usually is. Maryland was able to get a fairly easy win at N.C. State on Sunday, and the diminished home court was evident. The Eagles have an excellent chance to get into the tournament with a win in this game, as well as a winnable last game of the regular season against Georgia Tech at home. Look for Boston College to get the outright road win.

2 UNIT SELECTION

Arkansas -3.5 vs Mississippi

This game will be the last home contest for Arkansas, so they will be motivated to get one last win in front of their fans. Despite a horrible straight up record over the last ten games, they have played much better than most people think. Their schedule has been loaded with games against the best teams in the SEC, such as LSU (twice), Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee. However, they have been very competitive in almost every game recently. They are 4-1 ATS against the above listed teams, despite having one of the youngest teams in college basketball. Meanwhile, Mississippi is coming off of a blowout home loss to Alabama, as they are dealing with several banged up starters. They haven?t been able to get much quality practice time in, and the Rebels have to go back out on the road. In addition, they don?t have anyone to match up with Arkansas big man Michael Washington, so look for him to have a big game on the inside. The Razorbacks have a strong home court advantage as well and will be motivated to win their last game in front of their friends and family.

2 UNIT SELECTION

Oklahoma +4.5 vs Missouri

Oklahoma needs a win in this game in order to secure 2nd place in the Big 12 standings. Meanwhile, Missouri continues to be over-rated. They have been able to dominate weaker competition but looked nowhere near as strong against Kansas at home. The Tigers need a furious late game rally to pull that game out, and now they are a decent favorite against one of the best teams in the country. Missouri has absolutely no one who will be able to slow down Blake Griffin on the inside. In addition, Oklahoma is much stronger of a team after playing without Blake Griffin against Kansas and for most of the game at Texas. The Sooners players showed a great deal of resiliency in those games which will pay dividends in this game. This game overall will come down to the wire, as Oklahoma will use Blake Griffin?s advantage on the inside to keep it very close. Look for this game to come down to the final seconds.

2 UNIT SELECTION

Kansas -10.5 vs Texas Tech

Kansas is one of the hottest teams in the country, and they have a chance to wrap up the Big 12 regular season championship with a win in this game. The Jayhawks play Texas in their last game of the season, so they won?t want to leave anything to chance in this game. Meanwhile, Texas Tech has really struggled this season and has been routinely blown out at home, with never in doubt losses to Texas, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. Kansas has gone 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games, including double digit road wins. Texas Tech has given up on the season, and they won?t be able to keep this game close against a motivated Kansas team.

40 DIMER - NORTHWESTERN (6:30 pm tip!!!!)
20 DIMER - GEORGE WASHINGTON
10 DIMER - ARKANSAS

Don't get me wrong, I like this Purdue edition. I feel the Boilers have plenty of upside as we head into the Big Dance, but tonight at 6:30 pm they are simply laying too many points!

Northwestern has won 2 in a row, and 3 of their last 4 to up their mark to 16-11, and it appears that the Wildcats will at least be NIT-bound for sure.

The 'Cats gave the Boilermakers all they could handle in the 1st meeting in Evanston, leading big through most of the game before falling by 3 as the 4-point home dog, as Northwestern has covered 6 of the last 10 series showdowns.

Purdue has been spotty at best when laying points of late, as the Boilermakers have failed in 4 of their last 7 as the favorite.

The Boilermakers also have a big road date in East Lansing to conclude the regular season, so I can very easily see Purdue winning this game by 8, but failing to cover this big, big impost.

Take the points!

20 DIMER - GEORGE WASHINGTON COLONIALS

Another nice dog play tonight goes on George Washington, as the Colonials are off back-to-back upset wins over conference foes Richmond, and NC Charlotte. Overall, GW has won 3 of their last 4, while UMass has dropped 4 of their last 5 both straight up, and against the spread.

The Colonials are a money-making 8-3-2 against the spread their last 13 games, and they have also been able to split the 6 series meetings both straight up, and against the spread.

Both teams have just 10 wins this year, but you can see that at least Washington appears to be closing the season out by competing, while the best you can say about the Minutemen is they are at least putting on their uniforms.

I will take the points.

10 DIMER - ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS

Revenge time for the Hogs who were 65-74 losers at Oxford back in mid-January, and while the Razorbacks have won just 1 time in their last 9 games, that win did come in convincing fashion last time out against UGA.

The injury toll the Rebels have endured this season may finally be catching up with them, as they have lost their last pair, and 4 of their last 5 overall.

Series history shows this to be a very home-oriented series, as the host is a whopping 14-3-2 against the spread the last 19 times these schools have clashed.

Look for Arkansas to "hold serve" tonight.

Lay the small home wood as the Razorbacks make it 2 straight wins and covers
