Prediction: over
Reason: The over is 7-0 in Atlanta's last 7 games overall as a dog of 5.0 - 10.5. The over is 8-3 in their last 11 games as a road dog. In their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning home record the over is 7-3. The over is 9-2-1 in the Hornets last 12 games vs. a team with a losing road record. The over is 10-3-1 in their last 14 home games. The Hornets have played the over in their last 5 game's played on Wednesday's. The over is 4-0 in Atlanta's last 4 trips to New Orleans. Play the over

Syracuse @ Seton Hall
Play: Syracuse -3
Syracuse and Seton Hall have played their respective ways back to the bubble after looking like locks for the Big Dance. The Orange are on a 2-5 skid after Saturday's late collapse vs. Pittsburgh. The Pirates have been even worse, dropping six of their last eight, including a really bad loss against lowly St. John's last game. It's must win for both sides tonight to simply keep any realistic hope of an at large invite alive. My feeling is that while neither team is sharp presently, the Hall is on the worse slide and I'm looking at the 'Cuse as the more likely team to bounce back with a good effort. Syracuse minus the points.

Golden State Warriors at Charlotte Bobcats
With its win last night in Minnesota Charlotte has now won two straight after losing its previous three. It lost at Golden State in February 127-96 and is 55-36 ATS revenging a same season loss vs opponent over the last 3 seasons. While Golden State has won its last four following its victory last night in Atlanta it is 3-8 ATS over its last 11, 24-34 ATS on the season and 14-23 ATS as a favorite this season.

Milwaukee Bucks -9.0
The Seattle Supersonics are off playing a very good Detroit Pistons team last night and will be on tired legs here in as they go to the court for the 3rd time in 5 nights against the Milwaukee Bucks . The Bucks have not exactly been a consistent team this season, but when playing on their own home court are always a team to be reckoned with. The Sonics have lost 14 of their L16 road games SU, while Milwaukee has won 3 of their L4 at home while covering 5 straight. Final notes & Key Trends: The home team has won 8 straight meetings SU in this series and more importantly covered 7 of those confrontations. Play on Milwaukee to cover

Play On: Indiana Pacers
Note: Here we are again, fading the soaring Rockets in a role the Pacers are equipped to handle. That’s confirmed by Indiana’s 4-0-1 ATS record the last five games in this series, and its 7-2-1 ATS mark on this court. Houston checks in off a same season revenge win over Denver knowing they are 1-9 ATS as home chalk against sub .450 foes after taking on the Nuggets. They also have a same season revenger scheduled next with Dallas. With Houie just 2-8-1 ATS in games before meeting the Mavs, and Yao sidelined for the season, look for the visitors to pace themselves to a surprise win here tonight. KEY STAT: Indiana is 12-5 ATS mark as a non-conference dog this season, including 6-0 when facing a .625 or greater opponent.

Minnesota (12-47) at Utah (39-22)
Minny lost at home to Charlotte last night. Utah had the night off after a drag out fight in Salt Lake vs Dallas. It will be a tall task for the Jazz to get motivated for this one. Minny out of it from the start of the season has played some good ball at times and actually beat Utah on Feb 26th 111-100.They will stay inside the large number.

Wyoming at BYU
Play on: BYU Cougars
The BYU Cougars are on a roll going 8-2 ATS their last ten games, and are 4-1 ATS vs the Wyoming Cowboys the last three years. The Cougars are also 7-2 ATS at home vs Wyoming since 1997, and 9-4 ATS vs conference opponents this year. We look for the BYU Cougars to roll over the Wyoming Cowboys for the home ATS Win & cover tonight.

Saint Johns at NOTRE DAME
Play ON: NOTRE DAME minus the points
Take a look at the last four road games played by Saint Johns. The Red Storm was more like a light breeze scoring an average of just 51 points per game in those four contests. How do you think 51 will hold up against a Notre Dame juggernaut that is averaging a whopping 85 points per game at home this season. That 85 is no fluke, by the way. The Irish have won 36 consecutive home games and have averaged more than 84 points per game in those 36 wins. On senior night at the ACC, with revenge as extra motivation, watch Notre Dame blow out to an early lead and, because of the 60 points allowed in the second half in their last game (ND blew a 30-point second-half lead to DePaul in a seven-point win), keep the petal to the metal against the floundering Johnnies.

SYRACUSE over *Seton Hall...The Orange (17-11 SU thru the end of February) are desperate for every win to boost their NCAA hopes. And now, true frosh PG Jonny Flynn is familiar with running the offense in Big East wars. More importantly, Jim Boeheim’s young team is better at running his trademark 2-3 zone variations. Meanwhile, Seton Hall’s defense has apparently flown south for an early start on summer, allowing disciplined foes plenty of good shots on the interior and in transition.
SYRACUSE 91 - *Seton Hall 80 RATING - 11

Memphis U vs. SMU
Play: SMU
At 8 pm, our complimentary selection is on the SMU Mustangs over Memphis. The Ponies are coming off an outright win last Saturday as a home underdog (99-96 over UTEP as an 8-point dog), and that big upset wins sets up this play, as home dogs (or PK), with three or more days of rest, are an awesome 69% ATS since 1990 if they are off an single-digit upset win as a home dog and now matched up against a conference foe off back-to-back wins. Memphis has rebounded off its first loss of the season to win its last two games, but failed to cover the spread in either game. They will be hard-pressed, once again, to get the $$$$ on Wednesday night. Take the points with SMU.

Take Florida as the home dog tonight when they host Tennessee.
The Gators are not quite locked into the Big Dance, so expect them to come out supremely motivated in front of their home crowd.
Florida will be out to avenge their 22-point blowout loss at Knoxville back in February. They have worked extensively on shutting down the oppositions perimeter game during a recent six-day layoff, and they went out and held Georgia and Mississippi State to 9 of 35 shotting from beyond the arc.
Tennessee has won only four conference road games by a total of just 16 points, and only one of those wins came against an NCAA tournament caliber team.
Take the points with Florida tonight as they stay within the number at home.
4* FLORIDA On a 1* to 5* basis

Great value tonight in Amherst with the visiting La Salle Explorers. The G-Man is not sure if you are aware, but La Salle is a phenomenal 11-0-1 against the spread on the road this season. Overall, the Explorers sport a money-making 29-10-2 road spread mark their last 41. It is obvious this team from Philly likes life on the highway!
I will take the points here, as this line is a tad inflated with the Minutemen on a 4-game win and cover tear. UMass also drilled La Salle the last time these schools met, 102-63 in February of 2007. Problem is, UMass is just 2-6-1 against the spread their last 9 at home, and are an overall 4-7-1 against the line this year at the Mullins Center.
Great chance for the Explorers to keep this one close, and stay inside of the number. At 11-0-1 versus the spread on the highway this year, I will roll the dice with La Salle to cover.

Washington + over Orlando
Orlando is in a tough spot Wednesday playing at Washington after a big conference game against the Raptors Tuesday night. The Wizards are without their two biggest stars but that had brought great value and Washington is still playing well and looking to hold onto a playoff spot. The Wizards have won and covered in four of the last five games while covering in eight of the last ten and Washington owns a solid 17-12 S/U and ATS record at home this season. Washington is also 7-2 in division games this season and will seek revenge from a home loss to Orlando from very early this season. Orlando owns spectacular road record which has propelled the Magic to third place in the Eastern Conference but Orlando has been average in the last two months, going 6-8 ATS on the road. Washington is a superior defensive team, allowing just 95 points per game and the Wizards have what takes to shut down the Magic at home.

Florida Atlantic -5.0
Florida Atlantic lost both of its Sun Belt Conference games to in-state rival Florida International this season.
However, look for the Owls to rebound tonight on their home floor in the opening round of the SBC Tournament.
Florida Atlantic is 10-4 on its home court during the 2007-08 campaign and also 5-1 ATS coming off a straightup loss.
Meanwhile, Florida International has had an uneventful season outside of its two victories over FAU this season, entering with a 9-19 overall mark and a 1-10 ledger on the road.
I recommend laying the reasonable number of 5 and backing Florida Atlantic.
