Doc's Hockey for this week. G.O.Y. tonight

7 Unit Play. Chicago -110 over Columbus Western Conference Game of the Year.

The Hawks still have a slim chance of making the playoffs but need to keep recording victories in order to accomplish such a feat. They are playing a squad on Wednesday that cannot wait for this season to conclude. The Jackets have traded away much of their skill players and currently sit in 13th place in the Western Conference. Chicago has dominated the last two meetings with Columbus winning by scores of 6-3 & 7-2. In this contests they have scored seven goals combined in the first periods and expect them to jump on them again tonight. Columbus played last night and was shutout against Nashville. They have now lost three straight games and do not expect them to bring much to the table on Wednesday. The Hawks have been off since their victory on Sunday and will be the much fresher team tonight in the Buckeye state. Chicago gives us a big game cash, as we continue our recent run on success.
