By Joe Williams
VegasInsider.com

League Betting Notes

Favorites went 10-3 straight up (SU)
Favorites went 8-5 against the spread (ATS)
Home teams posted a 8-5 SU record
Road teams posted a 7-6 ATS record
The 'over' went 7-6

Team Betting Notes

Minnesota (6-0) has fired out of the chute with six wins in six tries, although they're just 2-4 ATS so far, including 0-3 ATS in three outings at home. The 'under' is also a perfect 3-0 at home for the Lynx.

Seattle (4-1) has rattled off four consecutive victories after opening the season with a loss in L.A. The Storm have also covered three in a row, including their 94-70 rout of Indiana (2-3) as six-point favorites on Sunday. The Fever have failed to cover in three of their past four outings.

Dallas (2-2) opened the season 3-0 ATS, but they had their doors blown off in Phoenix (3-2) by a 107-65 count, the most lopsided result to date in the WNBA season. It was the third consecutive 'over' result for the Wings after an under in their first meeting in Phoenix on May 14.

Washington (3-2) won and covered both games of their home-and-home set with Chicago (1-5). The Mystics are 2-0 ATS against the Sky and 0-3 ATS against everyone else.

The Sky were 2 1/2-point favorites against Connecticut (1-4) on Sunday, but it was the Sun picking up their first victory, 97-79. Chicago is 1-4 ATS over their past five outings, while the Sun improved to 3-1 ATS over the past four games.

The 'over' result in Sunday's game for Connecticut snapped a 4-0 'under' stretch to begin the regular season.

San Antonio (0-5) heads into Week 3 searching for their first win. However, don't discount the Stars at the betting window. San Antonio is an impressive 4-1 ATS to open the season.

Atlanta (3-1) surprised defending champ Los Angeles (2-2) by a 75-73 score on Saturday, winning outright as 6 1/2-point underdogs at home. The Dream have opened 3-1 ATS while the 'under' is 3-1, and 2-0 at home.

The Sparks are 2-0 SU/ATS at home, but 0-2 SU/ATS in their two games on the road.
