Indiana Fever at Washington Mystics (-1.5, 143.5)
If the Indiana Fever are looking for a little motivation, they won't have to search very hard.
In addition to having a franchise-record 11-game winning streak snapped in their last game, the first-place Fever may be feeling a bit snubbed by the announcement Monday of the All-Star reserves.
The Fever already had Tamika Catchings and Katie Douglas named as starters and Lin Dunn serving as coach. But none of their players were chosen as reserves, even though the Fever (11-3) have the best record in the WNBA and legitimate candidates in Tammy Sutton-Brown and Ebony Hoffman, both of whom average better than 10 points and five rebounds per game.
By comparison, the Chicago Sky are just 8-8 but have three All-Stars. The Atlanta Dream are 7-10 but have as many All-Stars as the Fever.
Expect Indiana take its frustrations out Tuesday night and improve on its recent, 6-1 record against Washington.
