2009 NFL Week 14 Odds, Point Spreads & Over/Under Totals

There are only four more weeks left in the 2009 NFL season and with many teams still fighting for their playoff lives, Week 14 should be thrilling.

Bet NFL Week 14

Game of the Week: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Minnesota Vikings

Fresh off their loss on Sunday night to the Arizona Cardinals, the Vikings look to get back on track when they host 2009’s biggest surprise, the Bengals. Brett Favre and the Vikings have been solid for bettors this season, posting a 7-4-1 record against the spread, including 3-2-1 at home. The Bengals have been just as good on the road, covering the spread in three of five games. One thing to keep in mind is that the over has covered in three of Cincinnati’s five road games this season.

Sunday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants

The Sunday Night Football matchup pits NFC East rivals against each other when the Giants host the Eagles at 8:20PM ET. Eli Manning and company got back in the win column with their victory over the Cowboys in Week 13, while the Eagles got a free win against a beat up Falcons squad in Atlanta. The G-Men have been lousy for bettors at home this year, covering in just two of six games in East Rutherford. Conversely, the Eagles are 3-2-1 against the number away from Lincoln Financial Field. Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made the Giants a 1-point opening favorite in this matchup, while the over/under total is sitting at 46.5 points.

Monday Night Football: Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers

The Cardinals can wrap up their second straight NFC West crown with a win over the inconsistent 49ers on Monday night. Kurt Warner and Arizona’s explosive offense upset the Vikings on Sunday night in Week 13, while covering the spread as 3.5-point underdogs. The 49ers were edged out by the Seahawks in Week 13 and failed to cover as 3-point road favorites. That said, San Fran has been outstanding for bettors, posting an 8-3-1 overall ATS record and a 4-2 record at home. They’ll have their hands full against a Cardinals team that is 5-1 against the number on the road this season.
