2010 CFB Week 3 Pick – Bet Oklahoma -16.5 Against Air Force

No. 7 Oklahoma eased the nerves of its fans last week but now the Sooners must avoid a letdown against Air Force on Saturday at 3:30PM ET.
Oklahoma is a 16.5-point favorite at home according to oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com. The over/under has been set at 54.5.
Oklahoma is 1-1 against the spread after its 2-0 start to the season. The Sooners have also split the over/under through two games. Oklahoma is 7-2 ATS since 2008 as favorites of 10.5-to-21 points. Oklahoma is also 8-4 ATS in home games over the last three seasons. Oklahoma has a recent tendency to hit he over as they have hit the over in 7-of-9 games since 2008 where they were 10.5-to-21 point favorites.
Air Force is 1-0 against the spread this season while being 2-0 overall. The Falcons hit the under in the one lined game. Air Force is 15-9 ATS in all games over the last three seasons and 6-4 ATS in road games since 2008. Since 1992, the Falcons have hit the over in 4-of-5 games where they are road underdogs of 14.5-to-21 points.
Oklahoma has shown two different sides this season, the team that barely beat Utah State and the team that dominated Florida State. Air Force is a solid team that could give the Sooners some problems, but Oklahoma seems to have gotten things figured out last weekend and though Air Force will put up a fight, ultimately we like Oklahoma to cover while hitting the over.
