By Anthony Rome

Most bettors know the value of watching line movements for sporting events. Before making any wagers this Sunday, be sure to check out our 2010 NFL Week 10 Line Movement Report & Odds.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com made the Bills a 3-point favorite over the Lions in Week 10. But when it was announced that Shaun Hill and not Drew Stanton would start for Detroit, the line dropped to 2.5, which is where it currently sits.

The Browns opened as a 3-point favorite at home against the Jets and the line hasn’t moved since. The over/under opened at 37.5 and while it did rise to 38 at one point during the week, it’s back down to 37.5 and a half.

The Colts opened as an 8-point favorite over the Bengals but the line has since dropped to 7. There’s a possibility that bettors liked the fight Cincinnati gave in the fourth quarter against Pittsburgh on Monday night and has decided to jump on the Bengals this weekend.

The Buccaneers opened as a 7-point favorite over their NFC South rivals the Panthers this Sunday. The line dropped to 6.5 at two separate points during the week, but each time it raised back up to 7. Tampa Bay is currently a 7-point favorite, while the over/under total is 37 points.

The Dolphins opened as a 1-point home underdog against the Titans on Sunday, but when it was announced that Chad Pennington would start over Chad Henne, the line moved to Miami +1.5, and then Miami +2. But the line has since dropped back down to 1 after reports surfaced on Friday that Kerry Collins would start over Vince Young for Tennessee.

The Vikings opened as a 1-point favorite against the Bears this Sunday and while the line did raise to 1.5, it’s back down to 1. The over/under total for this game is currently 40.5 after opening at 39.

The Jaguars opened as a 1-point favorite over the Texans and surprisingly, they’ve –1.5 at some books now despite their inconsistent play and the public’s affection for Houston. The over/under is currently 49.5 after opening at 50.

The Broncos opened as a 1-point underdog against the Chiefs in Denver this Sunday and that’s where the line currently sits. The total is currently 43 after opening at 42.

The 49ers opened as a 6-point favorite over the Rams and then quickly dropped to 5.5. The line got all the way up to 6.5 before settling in at 6 again. The over/under total is currently 38.5 points after opening at 38.

The Cardinals are currently 3-point favorites over the Seahawks after opening as a 3-point favorite. The over/under total bumped up slightly to 41.5 after opening at 41.

The Giants opened as a 14-point favorite over the Cowboys and while the line moved to 14.5 at one point during the week, it’s back down to 14. In fact, some books are even offering the Giants at 13.5, while the over/under is sitting at 45.5 after opening at 45.

The Steelers opened as a 4.5-point favorite and while the line moved to 5 at separate points during the week, they remain 4.5-point favorites over the Patriots on Sunday night. The over/under total for this game is currently 45.

The Redskins opened as a 3-point underdog at home against the Eagles on Monday night and as of this writing, the line has moved since. The total for this game is 42.5 after opening at 41.5.
