Washington Redskins vs. Detroit Lions, 1:00PM ET
Getting Stafford (shoulder) back from injury is huge for a Lions team that is already playing with more confidence that it did in each of the last two years. The home team is 7-2 against the spread in the last nine meetings between these two teams, while the Lions are 5-1 ATS in their last six games versus the NFC. They’re also 4-1 ATS in their last five games in October, while the Redskins are just 2-6-6 ATS in their last 14 games as an underdog of 0.5-3 points. Our pick is the Lions here, who we believe will win by a touchdown and start to turn around some of their luck heading forward.

Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 1:00PM ET
The Dolphins are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games and are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog. Although the Bengals are at home and showed signs of life in the third quarter last week against the Falcons, they’re just 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a stright up loss. They’re also 17-36-2 in their last 55 games in October and 16-33-2 in their last 51 games as a home favorite. The trends don’t favor Cincinnati in this matchup and neither do we. Our pick is the Dolphins, who win this game outright.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Oakland Raiders, 4:15PM ET
The Seahawks have been on a roll of late, but we’re still not buying that this team can be consistent – especially on the road. Their win over the Bears was impressive, but this is still a team that struggles away from Seattle. The Hawks are 0-5 against the number in their last five games against the Raiders in Oakland and just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 meetings overall with the silver and black. The home team is an impressive 7-0 ATS in the last seven meetings between these two teams and we think it’ll be 8-0 by the time Sunday night rolls around. Our pick is the Raiders, who are coming off a 59-point effort against the Broncos last week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Arizona Cardinals, 4:15PM ET
For as well as the Bucs have played, we don’t think they’ll fair well this week in Arizona. They’re 0-4 against the spread in their last four games in Week 8 and 1-5 ATS in their last six games in October. The Cardinals, meanwhile, are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games in October and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite of 0.5-3. Arizona gets a huge lift from being at home and rookie quarterback Max Hall should be back after missing last week’s game due to a concussion. Our pick is the Cardinals minus the points.
