2010 NFL Week 9 Line Movement Report & Odds

Bet NFL Week 9

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com opened the line between the Jets and Lions at 3.5, but the point spread has since risen to 4.5. The over/under total is currently 41.5 after opening at 43.

The Falcons opened as an 8.5-point favorite over the Bucs and while the line dropped as low as 7.5 at one point, it’s back up to 8.5 and even 9 at some books. The over/under total is currently 44.5 after opening at 45.5.

The Ravens opened as a 5-point favorite over the Dolphins and while the spread rose to 5.5 earlier in the week, it’s back down to 5. The over/under has stayed consistent throughout the week and is currently 40.5 (same as what it opened at).

The Browns opened as a 5.5-point home underdog against the Patriots but the line has actually dropped since then. They’re now down to a 4.5-point underdog, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 44 after opening at 44.5.

The Vikings opened as an 8-point favorite but now they’re –9 against the Cardinals this Sunday. The over/under total opened at 41 and is now down to 40 points.

The Bills opened as a 3-point underdog against the Bears at some books and 1.5 at others. But the line has been pretty consistent across most books, who have Buffalo listed as a 2.5-point dog. The over/under is currently 40.5 after opening at 41.

The Texans opened as a 2-point underdog against the Chargers but the line has since gone up to 3 now that Andre Johnson won’t play. The over/under total opened at 50 points and after rising to 50.5, it’s back down to 50.

The Panthers opened as a 6.5-point underdog against the Saints this Sunday and that’s where the line currently sits. The over/under opened at 41 and that too hasn’t moved.

The Giants opened as a 6-point favorite at the Seahawks but the line is now up to 6.5 and may continue to rise with the news that Matt Hasselbeck won’t play. The over/under total is currently 41 after opening at 41.

The Eagles opened as a 2.5-point home favorite over the Colts in Week 9 and now the line is up to 3. the over/under has dropped from 47 to 46.5 points as the injuries continue to pile up for Indianapolis.

The Raiders opened as a 2.5-point favorite over their AFC West rivals, the Chiefs. The line has stayed consistent, although it’s being offered at 3 points at some books. The over/under total is currently 41.5 after opening at 40.5.

The Sunday Night Football line opened at 9 and hasn’t moved off that number yet, with the Packers being favored over the Cowboys. The over/under total is currently 44 after opening at 45.5.

The Bengals opened as a 4-point home underdog for their game against the Steelers but the line has since risen to 5 points. The over/under total opened at 41.5 points but is now down to 41.
