2010 Super Bowl Saints vs. Colts Prop Odds: What Will the First Scoring Play Be?

Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com are offering a variety of wagers on what the first scoring playoff the game will be. Believe it or not, the best odds are on a New Orleans Saints Rushing Touchdown, which is 5/2 to be the first score.
The next best odds belong to an Indianapolis Colts Passing Touchdown at 11/4, followed by a Colts Rushing Touchdown at 9/2. A Saints Passing Touchdown has been given 4/1 odds.
A field goal by either team seems to offer a ton of value, with a Saints Field Goal being given 6/1 odds to be the first score and a Colts Field Goal being given 4/1. For those bettors that are feeling risky, a Saints or Colts Defensive or Special Teams Touchdown has been given 25/1 odds, respectively.
At 25/1 odds, most bettors will pass on the defensive/special teams touchdown because of its very low probability. But keep in mind that the last time the Colts were in a Super Bowl (which was also in Miami), Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Also consider that Reggie Bush is incredibly dangerous on punt returns for the Saints and he’s liable to bring one to the house every time he touches the ball.
