2011 Super Bowl XLV Odds to Win – Colts Favored by Oddsmakers at 6/1
Despite losing Super Bowl XLIV to the New Orleans Saints, the Indianapolis Colts are favored to win the 2011 Super Bowl according to oddsmakers.
Not 24 hours after losing 31-17 to the Saints in the NFL title game, oddsmakers from online sports book Brobury Sports.com have made the Colts a 6/1 favorite to win the 2011 Super Bowl. New Orleans and the San Diego Chargers have the next best odds at 8/1.
The New England Patriots, who opened as the favorites to win the 2010 Super Bowl, have 10/1 odds to win XLV, as do the Pittsburgh Steelers. Other mid-range long shots are the Dallas Cowboys (12/1), Green Bay Packers (12/1), Minnesota Vikings (12/1), Philadelphia Eagles (12/1), Baltimore Ravens (15/1) and the New York Jets (15/1).
Some intriguing long shots for the 2011 Super Bowl are the Atlanta Falcons at 30/1, the Tennessee Titans at 30/1, the Carolina Panthers at 40/1 and the Houston Texans at 40/1.
