COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: Road team is 13-3-1 ATS L17 in series. Alabama is 6-1 ATS L7 conference games. Last year: Lsu (+4) over ALABAMA, 9-6; #Alabama (-2.5) over Lsu, 21-0. The Tide travel to Death Valley to face rivals LSU. Alabama won the BCS National Championship last year, by shutting out the Tigers, 21-0. Nobody really wants to see that matchup again and if Alabama wins this game-they won’t. Alabama is coming off a 38-7 win over No. 17-ranked Mississippi State last week. LSU has had a tougher schedule as this is their fourth-straight game against a ranked team, starting with a loss at No. 8 Florida. Both teams have great defenses, but Alabama has the better quarterback in A.J. McCarron.
