2012 CBS Game of the Week Free Pick: Florida +2.5 vs. LSU
By ATSSportsline.com

GAINESVILLE, FL (ATS Consultants) – No. 10 Florida hosts No. 4 LSU at 3:30PM ET on CBS, live from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday.

LSU is 5-0 on the season and 1-0 on the road while Florida is 4-0 overall and 2-0 at home. The Gators are 3-1 against the spread while the Tigers are 2-3 ATS. LSU has won and covered in the last two games in this series.

Line Movement: Opening odds had LSU favored by 2.5 points. The spread reached a peak of 3.5 points and a low of 1.5 points during the week before closing at LSU -2.5.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: Florida is 5-1 ATS L6 following a bye week. Last year: LSU (-13.5) over Florida, 41-11. LSU is undefeated at 5-0, but they played poorly against Auburn two weeks ago, winning just 12-10. Last week against FCS-member Towson at home, the Tigers won 38-22 and were up 17-9 at the half. They were outrushed by 30 yards by Towson. Part of the problem is at quarterback, where Zack Mettenberger completed just 15 of 27 passes for 169 yards and lost two fumbles at Auburn. The offensive line has been shaky, while Florida (4-0, 3-0 SEC) has one of the best offensive lines in the SEC, if not the nation. They will need to be on their game to protect QB Jeff Driskel, who has been solid for the Gators.
