LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – No. 19 Boise State will take on Washington in today’s MAACO Las Vegas Bowl at 3:30PM ET. Which team will cover?
ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed Boise State as a 5.5-point favorite versus Washington, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 43.5 points. The Huskies enter today’s game with a 7-5 overall record while the Broncos are 10-2.
LINE MOVEMENT: The Broncos opened as a 7.5-point favorite but the line has been bet down to 5.5 at most sports books. As for the total, it opened at 46 but is now down to 43.5 or 44 depending on what sports book you view.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL BOWL PICK: Take Washington. According to latest college football trends, the Huskies are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games following a straight up loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss. They’re also 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. The Broncos, meanwhile, are 1-6 against the number in their last seven games versus a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a straight up win. This line is a little inflated given Boise State’s recent run in bowl games and due to the fact that everyone remembers Washington’s last game being its shocking loss to Washington State. But look for the Huskies to keep this game close throughout and cover the 5.5.
