PITTSBURGH, PA (ATS Consultants) – Indianapolis meets Pittsburgh on Sunday from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh at 8pmET. The Steelers defeated the Colts, 23-20 laying 10.5 in the regular season last year. Last week, Pittsburgh fell at Philadelphia, 24-23 getting 1, while Indy routed the Rams, 38-3 last Sunday at home.

Odds: The oddsmakers have installed the Steelers as a 4-point favorite. The total is 37.5 in most books.

Line Movement: Pittsburgh opened as a 4.5-point favorite and moved down to 4 at most books. The total started at 37.5 and remained there in most books.

Public Betting: Of the wagers on tonight’s game, 54% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Ravens. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.

NFL FREE PICK: Take the Steelers. Recent preseason NFL trends include: Pittsburgh is 5-1 ATS as a favorite. This will be a tougher test for Andrew Luck, going up against a much tougher defense than the Rams. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was sharp in a brief appearance in the Philadelphia game, completing 7-of-8 attempts for 49 yards in helping the Steelers jump out to a 13-0 halftime lead. Even if he plays less than a half, the Steelers have a better group of backups led by Byron Leftwich and Charlie Batch (as opposed to Drew Stanton and Chandler Harnish). The Colts got their first win already, now the Steelers will be looking to play better than they did last week, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
