2012 NFL Preseason Week 4 Falcons vs. Jaguars Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

JACKSONVILLE, FL (ATS Consultants) – The Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars will wrap up their exhibition season tonight when they square off in Jacksonville at 6:30PM ET.

NFL Odds: Oddsmakers currently list the Jaguars as 3-point favorites over the Falcons, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 38.5.

Line Movement: The odds haven’t changed since they’ve opened. Jacksonville opened as a 3-point favorite and remains a 3-point favorite over Atlanta.

Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on tonight’s game, 68% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Falcons. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.

NFL Preseason Free Pick: Take the Jaguars. This is the final game of the preseason, which means most of the starters will sit out. Why does Atlanta need to play Matt Ryan and Roddy White? The Falcons’ backups haven’t played well in preseason but they did outplay Miami last week, winning 23-6 on the road. That was Miami and rookie Ryan Tannehill. They take on a Jacksonville team that is without RB Maurice Jones-Drew due to a holdout, but backup QB Chad Henne is more than competent. They may also play starting QB Blaine Gabbert a series or two against a backup defense, to get a little more confidence. Gabbert has improved during the preseason and adding rookie WR Justin Blackmon has helped improve a terrible receiving corps. The Falcons just need to stay healthy.
