2012 NFL Week 15 Broncos vs. Ravens Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com
BALTIMORE, MD (ATS Consultants) – One of the best matchups of Week 15 will take place in Baltimore today when the Ravens host the Broncos at 1:00PM ET. Who will cover?
NFL Odds: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Ravens are 3-point home underdogs versus the Broncos, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 48 points. Denver is 10-3 overall and 5-2 on the road, while Baltimore is 9-4 overall and 5-1 at home.
Line Movement: The Ravens opened as 4-point favorites but the line has completely swung in the Broncos favor. Denver is now anywhere between a 2.5 to 3-point favorite, while the over/under total is sitting at 48 after opening at that same number.
Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 72% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Broncos. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.
NFL Playoff Free Pick: Take Denver. According to latest NFL trends, Baltimore is 0-5 ATS L5 in December. This could get ugly. Baltimore's injury situation at linebacker keeps getting worse. Even if ILB Ray Lewis returns from a tricep tear, he'll be rusty. ILB Jameel McClain (neck) is out and OLB Terrell Suggs (biceps) will probably not play. That means another big game for QB Peyton Manning, who is having an MVP-caliber season with 3,812 yards, 30 TDs and 10 INTs. Denver's defense is led by the explosive OLB Von Miller coming off the edge against a poor tackle duo of Michael Oher and rookie Kelechi Osemele. QB Joe Flacco also doesn't feel the pressure well. The Ravens will be glued on WR Demaryius Thomas (74 for 1,197 yds), which will leave Eric Decker (58 for 828yds) and the TEs wide open.
