2012 NFL Week 15 Giants vs. Falcons Picks & Predictions
By Anthony Rome

ATLANTA, GA (The Spread) – Which team will emerge victorious when the Falcons host the Giants at 1:00PM ET today in a rematch of last year’s wild card matchup?

NFL Odds: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Falcons are 1-point favorites versus the Giants while the over/under total is currently sitting at 51 points. The Giants are 8-5 overall and 3-3 on the road, while Atlanta is 11-2 overall and 6-0 at home.

Line Movement: The Falcons opened as 1-point favorites and that’s where the line currently sits at most sports books, while the over/under total is 51 after opening at 52.

Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 76% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Giants. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.

NFL Playoff Free Pick: Take New York. According to latest NFL trends, the road team is 8-1 against the spread in the last nine meetings between these two teams while the Giants are 10-2-1 against the number in their last 13 games versus a team with a winning record. They’re also 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games versus the NFC and 38-17-1 ATS in their last 56 road games. Atlanta’s offensive line has failed Matt Ryan in recent weeks and the challenge doesn’t get any bigger when pass rushers Jason Pierre-Paul, Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora come to town. The interior of the defensive line killed the Falcons last year and will likely do so again as Atlanta is too one-dimensional to keep the Giants off balance today.
