COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK:
Arizona is 6-2 ATS L8 in October and is 6-1 ATS L7 in series. Last year: USC (-12) over Arizona, 48-41. Arizona is led by quarterback Matt Scott and wide receiver Austin Hill. Head coach Rich Rodriguez has another dominant offensive team. Scott is fourth in the nation with 2,355 passing yards and is tied for 10th with 17 touchdown passes. Arizona will be tested by USC’s defense, which has forced 22 turnovers and has 27 tackles. But USC’s offense has been inconsistent, as Matt Barkley hasn’t lived up to his Heisman expectations. Barkley did throw for 298 yards and six touchdown passes last week against a woeful Colorado defense. Arizona will need some balance and strong running from Ka’Deem Carey.
