CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (ATS Consultants) - Clemson covered as a road favorite last week against Maryland but will Virginia trip the Tigers up today at 3:30PM ET?

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Clemson is a 17-point favorite over Virginia, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 55 points. The Tigers are 7-1 overall and 3-0 on the road, while the Cavaliers are 2-6 overall and 2-4 at home.

LINE MOVEMENT: Clemson opened as 20-point favorites but the spread was bet down to 17, while the total opened at 57 and has been bet down to 55 at most sports books.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 87% of College Football public bettors currently favor the Tigers. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: Take Clemson. According to latest college football trends, the Tigers are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games versus a team with a losing record and 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games. On the other side, the Cavaliers are 3-9-1 against the spread in their last 13 conference games, 2-10-2 ATS in their last 14 home games, and 6-19-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record.

Virginia has had issues moving the ball all season and while its defense has played fairly well, the Cavs won't be able to keep pace with Tajh Boyd and Clemson's offense for four quarters. Lay the points.
