COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: Take Oregon. According to latest college football trends, the Ducks are 5-0 against the spread in their last five road games, 8-1 against the number in their last nine games overall, and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games versus a team with a winning record. On the other side, the Cavaliers are 0-7-1 against the spread in their last eight games in September, 1-7-1 against the number in their last nine home games, and 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine non-conference games. Virginia's defense might be able to hang with Oregon for a quarter or two, but eventually the Ducks are going to pull away. The Cavaliers simply don't have the offensive firepower to avoid a blowout.
