2013 NFL Week 2 Preseason Giants vs. Colts Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (ATS Consultants) – Eli Manning and Andrew Luck will square off tonight at MetLife Stadium when the Giants and Colts tangle in Week 2 of the preseason.

NFL Odds: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Giants are 1.5-point favorites over the Colts, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 40.5 points.

Line Movement: The Giants opened as 2.5-point favorites but the line has been bet down a full point to 1.5 at most sports books. As for the total, it opened at 40 and has been bet up slightly to 40.5.

Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 65% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Giants. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.

NFL Playoff Free Pick: Take New York. According to latest NFL trends, the Colts are 4-10 ATS the last 14 in preseason. The Colts were hoping that Ahmad Bradshaw, the former Giants star running back, would come and rejuvenate the running game. He's just coming off the PUP list and won't play Sunday night, but should ready for Game 3. The Giants get back defensive end Justin Tuck (back) and offensive lineman Justin Pugh, who didn't play last week in Pittsburgh. Eli Manning should see a few series after going just 2-of-5 last week for 73 yards. One of those completions went to Victor Cruz, who beat theSteelers' secondary for a 57-yard touchdown reception. The Giants are looking at several competitions on offense. One of them is at backup quarterback as David Carr is trying to hold off Curtis Painter and rookie Ryan Nassib. The Syracuse product may end up as the third quarterback which means Carr or Painter will be the odd man out. At running back, expect a little more from David Wilson and Andre Brown. The Colts allowed 374.2 yards per game on defense last year and were 29th against the run. That defense is still a work-in-progress. Expect the Giants' backup offense to work the Colts' backup defense and cover this game with ease.
