2013 NFL Week 3 Packers vs. Bengals Picks & Predictions
By Anthony Rome

CINCINNATI, OH (The Spread) – A pair of 1-1 teams coming off victories in Week 2 will battle in Cincinnati when the Bengals host the Packers at 1:00PM ET.

NFL Odds: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Packers are 2.5-point favorites over the Bengals, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 49 points. Green Bay blasted Washington as a 9-point favorite last Sunday versus Washington, while Cincinnati won and covered as a 7-point favorite versus Pittsburgh on Monday night.

Line Movement: The Packers opened as a 1-point favorite but the spread has been bet up to 2.5 at most sports books. As for the total, it opened at 46.5 and has been bet up to 49 at most online sports books.

Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 84% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Packers. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.

NFL Free Pick: Take Green Bay. According to latest NFL trends, the Packers are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous contest and 39-19-2 ATS in their last 60 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous outing.

The Bengals are coming off a short week having played on Monday night versus division rival Pittsburgh. While Cincinnati doesn't need motivation to get up for Green Bay, the Bengals may suffer a letdown after beating a Steelers team that they've had trouble against in recent years. Even on the road, Aaron Rodgers and Co. are a value play under a field goal.
