2013 NFL Week 3 Rams vs. Cowboys Picks & Predictions
By Anthony Rome
DALLAS, TX (The Spread) – Two teams coming off losses in Week 3 will square off in "Big D" today when the Cowboys host the Rams at 1:00PM ET.
NFL Odds: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cowboys are 4-point favorites versus the Rams, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 47 points. St. Louis failed to cover as a 6.5-point underdog last Sunday at Atlanta, while Dallas covered but lost as a 3-point underdog to Kansas City.
Line Movement: The Cowboys opened as 4-point favorites and that's where the line currently sits. The total, meanwhile, opened at 46.5 and has been bet up to 47 or 47.5, depending on what book you view.
Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 58% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Cowboys. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.
NFL Free Pick: Take Dallas. According to latest NFL trends, the Rams are 1-5 against the spread in their last six games in Week 3 and 1-8 ATS in their last nine games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
The Rams made things interesting a week ago in Atlanta after coming within a touchdown after falling behind 24-3 at halftime. But the Falcons were completely banged up on both sides of the ball and the Rams couldn't overcome their self-inflicted wounds. St. Louis has the youngest and thus, most inexperienced team in the NFL and continue to struggle on the road. Tony Romo should pick apart a defense that likes to play a soft zone scheme.
