2013 NFL Wild Card Playoffs Vikings vs. Packers Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

GREEN BAY, WI (ATS Consultants) – Will the Vikings and Packers light up the scoreboard when the two teams battle tonight in the 2013 NFL Wild Card Playoffs?

GAME INFO: Last games: (Dec. 2) GREEN BAY (-7) over Minnesota, 23-14; (Dec. 30) MINNESOTA (+3) over Green Bay, 37-34. Adrian Peterson looks to continue his unreal play for Minnesota (10-6 SU, 8-7-1 ATS, 7-9 O/U), who is back on the road playing their NFC North rival. Green Bay (11-5 SU, 9-7 ATS, 8-8 O/U) lost at Minnesota last week, but has the home field advantage at least for one more week. They host the Vikings from Lambeau Field at 8pmET from Green Bay, Wisc. on Saturday.

NFL Odds: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Packers are 9.5-point favorites versus the Vikings while the over/under total is currently sitting at 46 points. Minnesota is 10-6 overall and 3-5 on the road, while Green Bay is 11-5 overall and 7-1 at home.

Line Movement: Green Bay opened as an 8-point favorite and moved to 7.5 at most books. The total started at 45.5 and moved to 46 in most books.

Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 52% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Packers. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.

NFL Playoff Free Pick: Take the over. According to latest NFL trends, Minnesota is 4-1 Over last 5 in Green Bay, 18-7-1 Over last 26 in series, 5-1 Over last 6 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game. 5-2-1 Over last 8 Saturday games. Green Bay is 4-0 Over last 4 playoff home games, 4-1 Over last 5 Saturday games, 4-1 Over last 5 games following a ATS loss, 6-2 Over last 8 playoff games, 17-6 Over last 23 home games and is 19-7 Over last 26 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.

Last week, this game went way over the 45.5 total as neither defense could stop their opponent. The Vikings used a last-second field goal to steal the win on Sunday at home and grab the final wild-card spot in the NFC. Adrian Peterson came up nine yards short of beating Eric Dickerson's season record but made the play when it counted on Sunday, breaking through on a 26-yard run to set up Blair Walsh's 29-yard field goal in the final seconds. Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes and amassed a season-high 365
yards for Green Bay in the setback and has been at his best down the stretch, totaling 10 touchdowns and no interceptions in the Packers' final three regular-season games. Minnesota's defense ranks 24th against the pass (245ypg) and they are 11th against the run (106ypg). That's never good when facing Aaron Rodgers, even in the cold of Lambeau Field, because Rodgers will spread it around to Randall Cobb, who leads with 80 receptions for 954 yards and 8 TDs. James Jones leads with 14 TDs. Jordy Nelson (49 for 745) and Greg Jennings (36 for 366) were hampered by injuries but are still very dangerous. What hurts Minnesota even more is that top CB Antoine Winfield (hand) is questionable and if he plays, he will be far from 100%. Rodgers threw for three scores with Winfield off the field last week. Peterson shredded Green Bay for 409 yards in two meetings this season.
