TAMPA, FL (The Spread) – Can Denard Robinson put together one more victory when his Michigan Wolverines battle South Carolina in the Outback Bowl today at 1:00PM ET?
ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Gamecocks as 4.5-point favorites versus the Wolverines, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 47.5 points. South Carolina finished with a 10-2 overall record and was 6-2 in the SEC, while Michigan was 8-4 overall and 6-2 in the Big Ten.
LINE MOVEMENT: The Wolverines opened as a 4.5-point favorite and while some online sports books are offering the spread at 5, that’s where the line currently sits. As for the total, it opened at 48 and has been bet down slightly to 47.5.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL BOWL PICK: Take Michigan. According to latest college football trends, the Wolverines are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game, 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a straight up loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss. On the other side, the Gamecocks are 1-5 against the number in their last six neutral site games and failed to cover in three of their final five games during the regular season. Michigan allowed a Big Ten-low of 15 sacks and doesn’t beat itself with stupid penalties. While containing defensive end Jadeveon Clowney will be a huge task, look for the Wolverines to hang with a South Carolina offense that will be without running back Marcus Lattimore (knee). Because of the SEC/Big Ten matchup, this line is a tad inflated so look for Robinson and the Wolverines to keep the game within a field goal.
