COLLEGE FOOTBALL BOWL PICK: Take Florida. According to latest college football trends, Louisville is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. Florida is: 4-0 ATS in their last 4 bowl games, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win, 8-3 ATS in their last 11 neutral site games, 22-9 ATS in their last 31 non-conference games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. win. Florida brings one of the top defenses in the nation against Louisville. The Gators' defense allowing just 186 yards per game in the air as opponents have completed only 51.2 percent of their passes against them. In early September, they held eventually Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel to a season-low 173 yards before beating the Aggies, 20-17 on the road, laying one. Safety Matt Elam, a first-team All-American, leads the defense that allows just 12.9 points per game (third in the nation) and five passing touchdowns, while making 19 interceptions. On offense, it's pretty simple. Get the ball to All-SEC running back Mike Gillislee, who picked up 1,1014 yards and 10 touchdowns. QB Jeff Driskel's job is to manage the offense and limit the mistakes, which he has with just three picks to go along with 11 touchdowns. They should be able to move the ball against a Louisville defense that allowed 175 ypg on the ground in the Big East to rank seventh in the eight team league. Expect Florida's defense to shut down Teddy Bridgewater and company and score at least once on defense.
