EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (The Spread) – After a disastrous performance in Minnesota last week, pundits are killing the Falcons’ leaky defense. But will Atlanta cover today when it takes on the Giants?
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Giants are 4-point home favorites over the visiting Falcons for today’s 1:00PM ET kickoff from MetLife Stadium. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 50 points.
LINE MOVEMENT: The Falcons opened as 1.5-point underdogs but the line has jumped all the way up past the key number of 3 and has settled in at 4 at most online and Vegas sports books. As for the total, it opened at 49 and has been bet up to 50 or 50.5 depending on the book. Right now, 52% of the betting public is currently on the dog Atlanta.
SEASON RECORDS: The Falcons and Giants both enter today’s game with identical 2-2 records straight up and are both 2-2 at the betting window this year. The two teams also have matching over/under records as the over is 3-1 in Atlanta’s first four games, as well as in New York’s first four contests.
