ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks are 8-point home favorites over the Cowboys while the over/under total is currently sitting at 46.5 points. As of this current writing, 56% of the betting public favors Seattle minus the points.
LINE MOVEMENT: The Seahawks opened as 9-point favorites but the line has been bet down to either 8.5 or 8, depending on the sports book. As for the total, it opened as 47.5 points but has been bet down to either 47 or 46.5.
SEASON RECORDS: The Cowboys enters play with a 4-1 record and are 3-2 against the spread this season, while the Seahawks are 3-1 straight up and 3-1 at the betting window in 2014. The under is 3-2 in Dallas’ first five games this season while Seattle’s over/under record is sitting at 2-2.
NFL FREE PICK: Take Dallas. According to latest NFL trends, the underdog is 6-2 against the spread in the last eight meetings between these two teams while the Cowboys are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games versus the Seahawks.
