2015 College Football Week 4 TCU vs. Texas Tech Picks & Predictions

In what undoubtedly should be an entertaining game, TCU will visit Texas Tech today at 4:45PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Horned Frogs are 6.5-point road favorites versus the Red Raiders after opening as 7.5-point favorites. As for the total, it opened at 79 but has been bet up to 83.5.
Honestly, even if the total were in the 90s we'd still recommend taking the over, sitting back and watching these two teams clash in a shootout. TCU's defense is banged up, having lost its best corner in Ranthony Texada for the season. Look for Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Kliff Kingsbury to take advantage of potential mismatches in the Frogs' secondary.
TCU scored 82 points in this matchup last season, so you can expect Kingsbury and his offense to attempt to score that many this time around. The Red Raiders aren't likely to match that number but 40 is possible from Tech alone. Take the over and sit back and watch the points pile up.
