Bama, SEC favored in 2013-14
By Bovada.lv

As expected, oddsmakers have made Alabama a 5/1 favorite to win the 2013-14 BCS Championship, which takes place on Jan. 6, 2014 from Pasadena, California. The Crimson Tide will look to be the first school to win three straight national titles in the modern era and fourth in the past five seasons.

Along with Alabama, the SEC has a handful of others schools receiving attention from the oddsmakers. LSU (12/1), Texas A&M (12/1) and Florida (14/1) are listed as contenders while South Carolina (25/1) and Georgia (28/1) have been noticed as well.

Notre Dame, who was humbled to Alabama 42-14 in the 2012-13 BCS Championship, is listed at 22/1.

Oregon (8/1) and Ohio State (17/2) are the second and third choice behind Alabama. The Ducks return a ton of talent to Eugene plus head coach Chip Kelly decided to stay in the Great Northwest as well.

As far as the Buckeyes, they were the only team to go undefeated (12-0) this past season. Ohio State comes back with a loaded roster and they have a talented coach in Urban Meyer, who has two championships under his belt.

Below are all the opening future odds from Bovada.lv.
