BCS Title Odds Updated
By Brobury Sports

Bet on the 2011 BCS Championship

The 2011 BCS title odds have been updated after NFL early entries and National Signing Day. To no one’s surprise, the new boss (Alabama) is the same as the old boss.

Pick a team now at BroburySports and get a big return from a small stake.

Alabama Crimson Tide (+350)

The defending national champs are the solid favorite next year. Heisman running back Mark Ingram, quarterback Greg McElroy, and receiver Julio Jones are all back. The defense needs to retool a bit after losing Rolando McClain and others, but there is a lot of talent remaining.

Ohio State Buckeyes (+800)

The Rose Bowl champs get quarterback Terrelle Pryor back. They should be more relaxed next year after finally winning a BCS Bowl game (Rose Bowl over Oregon). The defense loses some pieces, but could easily be in the top-5 nationally again.

Oregon Ducks (+1000)

Oregon’s explosive offense didn’t live up to its billing in the Rose Bowl, but all the starters return. The defense wasn’t great, but they bring back nine starters as well, so there has to be improvement. At least we think so.

Boise State Broncos (+1200)

Boise State was undefeated last year, and was perfect in the regular season two years ago. The Broncos return 21 of 22 starters, and it will be hard to keep them out the national title game if they go undefeated again.

TCU Horned Frogs (+1500)

TCU is another team that earned a lot of respect last year, even after losing to Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. Quarterback Andy Dalton is coming back, along with about 75% of the starters. Watch out for the Horned Frogs!

Texas Longhorns (+1500)

Texas had the huge disappointment in the national title game. There’s no telling what would have happened if Colt McCoy didn’t get hurt, but we’ll never know. Backup Garrett Gilbert survived his baptism by fire, and there’s plenty of surrounding help.

Virginia Tech Hokies (+1500)

Virginia Tech is expected to be the class of the ACC next year in addition to Miami (+3000). Hokies’ running back Darren Evans will return from injury to join Ryan Williams. The defense lost some guys, but they’re always good.

Other BCS Title Odds

Nebraska Cornhuskers (+1200)
Florida Gators (+2000)
