Pittsburgh is 6-1 and 4-2 against the spread this season. The Panthers have won three-straight to enter the top 25 rankings. The Panthers defeated then-No. 10 South Florida last season 26-21 to end a two-game losing streak to the Bulls. This season, the Panthers are led by Dion Lewis, who has rushed for 918 yards and nine touchdowns while Bill Stull has thrown for 1,409 yards and 14 touchdowns. Jonathan Baldwin has caught 28 passes for 549 yards and three touchdowns. Dorin Dickerson has caught eight touchdown passes on the year. Right now, the Panthers are leading the Big East in rushing offense with 1,222 yards, and on defense, the Panthers have allowed only 695 yards on the ground.

South Florida was in the top 25 rankings with a 5-0 start until losing last week to Cincinnati, 34-17. The Bulls are just 2-2 against the spread on the year. B.J. Daniels has thrown for 810 yards and seven touchdowns while rushing for 365 yards and four touchdowns. Daniels has filled in for Matt Grothe, who was lost for the season with an ACL tear in his knee during the third game of the season. The Bulls are second in the conference in points scored per-game at 33.7. On defense, South Florida leads the conference in points and yards per-game at 13.5 points and 286 yards. The Bulls have the top passing defense in the nation, allowing just 1,003 yards through the air.
